Have a Handmade Holiday! (Portland and online)

The holidays are here again, and your friends, relatives, and coworkers are all going to be expecting a little something. A card, a gift -- even in these tough times it's nice to let people know you appreciate them. So why not support a local crafter or artist instead of a big corporation?

I know it seems silly to remind people in the artists' community to support their creative brethren, but I also know that when money is tight (which it often is, being an artist) sometimes it seems cheaper to buy mass-produced crap than something handmade. But the holidays should be about quality, not quantity -- one or two nice gifts are worth immeasurably more than a bunch of plastic trinkets. Plus, money spent on locally made, handcrafted items stays in the community, instead of supporting factory production in another country. So come on, whether you go to the plethora of bazaars and craft fairs that pop up this time of year, browse the many locally owned shops that carry items from local makers, or prefer shop in your underwear (online), support your fellow artists and crafters this holiday season.

* * * * * * * *

I am a painter and cardmaker in Portland, with new holiday cards to share. They're available on Etsy (or if you don't have an Etsy account, you can just e-mail me) along with many other designs. And remember, even if you don't like these, there are tons out there. Go take a look!
Title: “The 12 days of p:ear”
Type: 12 days of fundraising events throughout town, December 2 - 13

p:ear is hosting a series of fundraising events from Wednesday, December 2nd - Sunday, December 13th, 2009. I am new-ish to Portland, now living in Southeast. I paint mainly with acrylics, but have watercolors and oils as well. I would love to have my paintings displayed locally. I've been actively looking and asking, but this is a very competitive town for artists. Please email me if you're interested. Thanks!!!

Hello fellow artist,

I'm hoping to find a woman or women that is willing to model her figure for a photo project that I'm doing for school. You don't have to be nude for this, but you do have to be willing to show a lot skin and allow me to be very close to you. This is because these are extreme close ups of the body. Which also means your identity will not be revealed. This photos are not sexual, although could turn out erotic in nature. They have more to do with the curves, shadows, and textures of the body. This needs to be done fairly soon either at your place or mine. You are welcome to have a friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, partner, ect to be there for your comfort.

You must be over 18, prefer a slimmer body but can work with voluptuous, must have a few hours available.
This is not paid, but can send you copies of the final photos.
Also willing to do any projects that you may have wanted to do.

The 2010 Association of Northwest Landscape Designers’ Garden Tour wants to feature your work in the most gorgeous gardens in North/Northeast Portland and Vancouver! We’re currently accepting submissions of all kinds of work – 3D, 2D, any media! As long as your pieces can get wet and stand in the sun, we want to see what you’ve made. It’s free to submit!

THE DETAILS: artists will be paired with gardens so that everyone will be highlighted beautifully. Your contribution is a fee of $100 if you are selected. ANLD does not take a commission on your sales. That's right, you keep every penny you make at the event! The money raised in the tour through ticket sales and fees goes to support the ANLD scholarship program. Last year the tour was attended by over 600 people, and turned out to be a great venue for artists to sell. Submitting your work by the DEADLINE OF NOVEMBER 13th, 2009 ensures that you are listed on the tour ticket and the website www.anld.com, which will remain accessible long after the tour. Two event dates give you a great opportunity to promote your work: June 30th is a pre-tour that places your work in front of members of local and national press and July 10, the date of the tour and your biggest opportunity to sell artwork. To submit artwork for consideration, please send digital imagery and an artist statement to the address above, with "ANLD Artist Submission" in the subject line.

Quality Cheap Artist/Gallery Canvas - Coop vs Wholesale (portland)

Artists & Painters

I am looking to gain interest from the local community of artists as to a desire to be able to purchase quality artist/gallery canvas' at wholesale & coop prices. Think of full wrapped canvas' like art alternative in standard sizes at fantastic prices. There is the potential to get paints, etc also at unheard of prices.

The pricing would be essentially buy 2 get 3 free, so as an example a 4' by 4' size canvas would cost ~$200 for 5, or ~$60 for a pack of 5 18"by18" canvas'.

I am an artist myself, and my idea here is that as an artist I would like to be able to have canvas to create and feel that a barrier to that is the expense of having canvas. I want to pool all of our resources to be able to get us as much affordable canvas so we all can create fabulous work.

If you have any interest, let me know the typical sizes, quantities and frequency you would purchase, like the examples above, every month or 3 months...

cheers
We are late 20's, early 30's women, working, almost, full time as artists, showing and selling all over town.
It's in a great historic building that has been housing artist's studios for 30+ years.
We are in the basement but the ceilings are very high and the lighting is remarkably good, (there is some natural light).
It has a very open and airy feeling.
Gas heat, utilities split among all residents.
Secured building, freight elevator, and secure parking lot availability.
There is a great neighborhood coffee shop just a block away.
700 sq ft, split 3 ways, with some common space.
$425/mo also split 3 ways. Your share would be $141.66
Email me to set up an appt to see the space.
It's really a very loved art space and we are looking for just the right fit. Maybe that's you!

Where do people think, that ALL artists, just can't wait to get up every morning and go paint for free?
Why shouldn't the artist be equally paid for the value of his/her work, and the labor that's involved?
Do you think artists actually like starving as a career move?
Time, effort, just to do the "proposed" work, you want them to send, for your approval, yet still WANT them to do it for free, out of the kindness of their hearts (?), to have your apartment decorated, so you can impress your friends, as a way of supporting them?
f you could do so barter, trade, food, clothing and shelter, etc...

Why? When people work directly to a customer, they customer feels compelled, to knock the price down, way down, where the artist has to take it, to eat, put a roof over his head, buy supplies, and shop at overpriced resale shops? You don't barter at any other stores, do you?

Sure, some artist's "work" is way overpriced crap, but they still have to eat too...

“Crafternoons” @ Brew’s Brothers…

Project: Crochet classes, starting Monday November, 15, 2009. 11:00AM.
Destination: http://www.thebrewsbrothersonline.com
Dynamics: Entry level to advanced crochet instruction, project advancement and direction. Hosted by Michael D. Joynt, an avid crocheter from the tender age of 7, and has over 20 years of professional, and private, art and crafts experience. I am geared toward garments, specifically but not limited to hats, and other cold weather apparel (Scarves, mitten, leg warmers, “wrist cozies”, ponchos). I have a diverse background, and can assist with other types of crafts, supplies and their applications, and techniques.
Initiative: Would like to conduct structured and advanced registered classes, preferably 4 students at minimum, to 15 maximum, in a quiet, social and relaxed atmosphere.
Considering scheduling classes at other times, providing advance notice and interest and class size. Small groups are welcomed, and can qualify for a discount. Discounts may also be available for appetizers. Any and everyone are encouraged to enroll. Diversity is welcomed and encouraged and should not be limited by age, gender, race, ethnicity, skill level, fashion statement, and any other label that might hinder creativity and the learning process.
I would like to charge $5.00 per hour, per student, and would like to have a flexible schedule as to length of classes, but would like at least a 2 hour block, if time and conditions are ideal. Groups rates can vary and would have to be discussed in advance.
Some tools and yarn will be provided, and am considering a “yarn donation”, for group projects, and special projects, and possible other types of classes that may be implemented. This may be in the form of yarn and other supplies, as well as cash.
Feedback, is also accepted, encouraged and highly valued.
Interested students can contact me at 503-568-0556 or at the links,

Artists, paint my white wall. {UPDATED} (PDX, PSU Neighborhood)

ME:
Just moved into an apartment right next to PSU and I have a giant white wall in my apartment. (literally the entire length of my studio)
The wall itself is about 25 feet in length and approx 8+ feet tall. I am currently making a list of what I wouldn't mind seeing everyday...as it would be on the wall!

YOU:
I know Portland is full of amazing artists so…my wall is your canvas...or at least a section of it.
I am looking for artists to paint on my wall. Simple enough right? They would need to be flexible with time and dates. It would be really cool to see your art so please email me some pictures so I can get a feel for what you paint.

I'm a laid back guy just looking to give some talented people a chance to use their skills. I would like to show the art off to my building and it would be awesome when entertaining people as well.

THE WALL:
I am most likely going to section off the wall for different artists to do their paintings. If I like what you do, the more wall space I am willing to give!

Art that I like/influences:
realism, surrealism, contemporary,...really into Magritte and Dali lately, check em' out below
(if you can paint like that then you probably won't be looking at this ad....or would you?) a few quick photos of the wall too, it is what it is...a giant white wall.

Anything along those lines would be nice, but open to anything!

Some examples from your portfolio wouldn't hurt. We can discuss paint materials and pay later

I had to buy some stuff for a printmaking class over the summer but now have no use for this. You see, I am a terrible printmaker, but I am interested in the medium's aesthetic. So, I am willing to trade all this to anyone who has a use for it if they have any work completed. Just send me a pic. Thanks for looking,

call to artists + small rant (oregon)

Hello.
This is the call to artists- I am a painter/artist, and I have previously worked for a building development company downtown.
They have some unleased spaces, (great locations) and have given permission to use these spaces to display art. This will last until the spaces are leased (or we piss the landlord off).
There are no commissions, or fees involved. Artist are responsible for their
own contacts, and sales(if any). Mind you this is not a commerical venture, this is not a forum potitical or otherwise, this is an art project to help artists display their work. I am not trying to lease these spaces, I do not represent the owner. We just have permission to show art.
If you can, go by S.W. Fifth and Alder to see what we are doing. how we are displaying the work? Want to get involved and show your work? You may be asked to help.. i.e., making artist info sheets, setting up art work, help makeing easels etc.. You may also need to provide your own easels or displays. However, I may be able to assist with easels, or displays if needed. I am trying to include all types of fine art. I think that the window sills would do nicely for some sculpture. I will change work out monthly, depending on demand. Sold work must remain in show all month. Please go by the space, and check it out before you respond. (If you can) After you see what we are doing, and if you want to be included, email mail me a sample of or a link to your work to: ghl1369@gmail.com.
The next location I will be setting up is at S.W. Third and Stark. I hope to have this set by the end of next week but space is still available. I will be at SW Third and Stark location (building on SW corner) Saturday Nov. 14th, from 10:00AM to about 1:00PM. This is hopefully an on going opportunity for artists to display their work. I am now trying to book artists for the early months of 2010. I am willing to listen to ideas for displays, installation's, groups of artist , etc.

This is the small rant part.---Let me know know what you think, as this project is for artists by artists, and will end if artists don't step up and take some responibility to show their own work. I have been reading the crap posted on CL by the anti-RACC, anti-ART, anti-EVERYTHING, person for about a year. To him/her I say stop your gd winning and get off your lazy selfcentered fat ass and start doing something besides complaining. As for the artist posting, I can't get into galleries, cafes and coffee shops want a commission, well here is your chance. Do it while it lasts. It takes no effort to complain, but it does take a little effort to do something about it. So if you have the guts, Artists stand-up and EXPOSE YOURSELF!
Thanks, GHL

Handmade NW 2009 Holiday Craft Fairs! (Portland, OR)

Handmade NW Brings Quality Handmade Goods to Portland’s Doorstep!

Handmade NW is set to launch a robust holiday event schedule. With three downtown shows, one formal event, and more than 200 regional vendors, Handmade NW brings quality handmade goods to Portland’s doorstep this holiday season. This year, Handmade NW partners with P:ear, Women’s Crisis Line and OHSU Heart Health Institute as benefactors of select shows.
The scheduled events serve to support an economy of crafters and artisans who have committed to bringing quality handmade goods to our community. The recipient of the handmade gift receives something that is one-of-a-kind, and made with care and attention that can be seen and touched. It is the result of skill and craftsmanship that is absent in the world of large-scale manufacturing. Handmade NW encourages all to support the local economy by buying local handmade gifts this holiday.

About Handmade NW, LLC:
Founded in 2008, Handmade NW (HMNW) facilitates events for local and regional artisans and crafters. The events showcase the significant talent behind the handmade crafts of the region, and provide a unique shopping experience where shoppers can select from a number of independently designed goods. It is HMNW policy that the artisans themselves vend their wares. Their events serve to facilitate face-to-face meetings between the general public and the artisans who make local handmade goods.

3.	Song selection
4. Audience participation
5. Staging
6.	Keeping the attention of your audience

ABOUT THE TRAINING
Bobby Greer will need a videotape of your show, song list, photos, discography (if you have one) AND we will need to see your show live.
All this information will be analyzed and approximately two weeks later we will schedule a rehearsal to start the training. Training is approximately one and one-half hours long. Some people will pick this training up quickly-others will take a while.
The two training sessions will usually be on two separate dates as one can only remember so many things at a time.
At the end of the training, Bobby will return to see how you have done, and correct anything that is really out of line. There is no charge for this final visit.

THIS TRAINING IS ONLY FOR DEDICATED GROUPS WHO ARE WANTING TO GAIN AGENT ATTENTION, RECORD DEALS OR CONCERT PERFORMANCE.

FEES YOU CAN AFFORD
If you are really “going for it” then you better have all the training you can get. You only have one chance to make a first impression, for agents or most importantly-Your audience and fans.
Training starts at $150.00 per session. (Portland-Vancouver area) Most training sessions are 1 ½ hours. Minimum two sessions.

Basic Jewelry Fabrication Classes-Days & Eves (Camas, WA)

The cost is $80 for the basic class. It's meets once a week for six weeks. Start anytime.

Beginning Metal Smithing: Learn the skills required to work with metal and create your own jewelry. This class is the natural progression for beaders and wire wrappers. It's also great for those with some or little experience, for those seeking a work space with tools, and/or for those desiring to re-fresh their skills.

This class is designed to teach all of the basics of traditional jewelry making. Under supervision, students learn to use basic tools and techniques so that they can create their own jewelry. Students learn to use the jewelers saw frame, proper use of files, as well as sanding techniques. Students also learn the safe and correct use of the drill press and polishing lathe. In this class, students will learn "to look into fire" as they become familiar with the torch processes of annealing and soldering of metal. Tools used and supplied include hand tools, drill press, polishing lathe, and torch.

The classes are held in my studio in Camas, WA. Space is limited to 5 students per session, which allows for some great one-on-one time. I provide all of my tools for your use and all materials for the Basic Class. Due to remodeling I have openings on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesdays-both mornings and evenings from 9:00 am till Noon/6:30 till 9:30 There are also openings on Sunday late afternoons from 3:30-6:30 pm.

Beginning students are required to attend a Safety and Orientation session, which is part of the Basic Class. There is no additional charge for this seventh week.

I am planning on spending the next 12 months making miscellanea goods to sell at bazaars, craft fairs, and possibly Saturday Market next holiday season. I want to find another person to meet with occasionally to work on things together. It would be beneficial if we were both working on the same sort of projects, since we could share tools & such.

I will be making:
*bottlecap magnets
*memory boxes
*premade scrapbook albums & pages
*cards
*possibly sewing small purses & sachets

This list may grow as my son grows & I have more free time to explore other options.

I have a sewing machine, basic scrapbooking supplies, and will be acquiring more. I don't expect you to let me use your goods; rather, I would just like to get two-five people together who have similar interests for the company. I don't mind sharing tools & ideas, though. The more variety, the better!I live in a condo community with a rec room we could use at anytime. I'm near Cornell @ NW Barnes.

Thanks for looking! Please email if interested!

PS. Generic Google search pics, not my handy work. Just examples.

I wan to do portraits of physically/mentally disabled adults (PDX)

Hello CL, I am a local artist and I am hoping to find some disabled adults who have an interest in art and who would like their portraits done for a pubic show (location TBD). This may sound like an odd request so let me give you some personal history. I am the youngest of three. My older sister has CdLS and has struggled with being different her whole life. Also brother has MS (very rare in men) and has been confined to a wheelchair for 6 years, but still finds it extremely difficult to adjust from a very active life (camping, skateboarding, ect) to being confined to areas that are wheelchair accessible. Growing up I was constantly surrounded by special needs children and adults as my mother was very active in in the special needs community and I never gave a second thought to it until I was on my own as an adult, living 3,000 miles away from my family. Over time it has slowly dawned on me that I never see disabled persons anymore. There are thousands of wonderful people that are seemingly hidden from society, and many of them don't choose to be. So many disabled adults are forced to live in group homes and rarely get to go out into the "real" world to interact with the rest of us. I know from my sister that many disabled people need assisted living, but they also need to feel like contributing members of society, and who's feelings, expressions and physical presence we are nearly all missing in daily life.
So if you or someone you know is physically, mentally or otherwise disabled and would like to have your/their portrait drawn and displayed with whatever personal information you/they would like to share then feel free to contact me through this post or through my website. I can't offer any money, but I can offer prints, rides to local shows, and any money made can either be split between participants, or donated to special needs charities.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and have a kick-ass day!

Studio Space (N Portland)

Hello fellow artists,
There is a great private studio space available in N Portland (at Tillamook, right near a max stop off of Interstate). It's a 15.5 x 23 ft space (357sqft), with ten foot ceilings, two flourescent lights currently, and 6 outlets. I'm not the person renting out the space, but I would love to find a couple other artists or designers who would like to share this space with me (so then it would only be between $75 and $165 a month, depending on how many people etc).
A bit more about me: I'm a book artist, and I've been teaching on the letterpress classes, doing some free-lance graphic design, and some other book-related stuff. Depending on who is interested, it could turn more into a bookmaking area, or maybe not... I'm pretty flexible, and I don't mind sharing what equipment I have.
The space is attached to a larger printing co-operative which is 24-hr; members can either pay by the month or by the day for access to an amazing array of tools and presses (etching, litho, screen, letterpress, etc). Although you don't have to be a member of the studio to rent this space, it would be awesome if you were interested in some aspect of printmaking, and you would be eligible for a discount on membership (regularly $125/month).
If this sounds like something you'd like to hear more about, let me know, and we can get together at the studio and talk some more about the possibilities.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

I have been in business professionally painting on canvas and in customer's homes & offices now for 5 years, but have been doing it privately for approx 11 years. I would love to see what project you are starting and see how I can help. Generally, the way I work is on a collaborative basis. The customer will start by telling me the general feeling they want to evoke, a theme, colors, and then I take it from there. :) The customer can be as involved or removed from the design, layout, and implementation as they wish.

I also practice interior design (commercial and residential), custom painting, home staging, space planning, color consultations, and room organization so if you are interested, I can put together a color plan, space plan, CAD design, and design board for your home or office as well. Call me today so we can discuss your project!!

Hello,

I'm hoping to find someone interested in teaching me some basic metal art techniques. I'm a complete beginner, I don't even know where to start, but I've admired metal art for quite some time now and I would really love to try it. I'd like to learn about different types of metal, the tools needed, safety, technique, etc.

I love simplicity, I'm not trying to do anything elaborate. I'm attaching a couple pictures that I found on the internet of what I had in mind. It would mean a lot to me to be able to have art in my home that I did myself. So, hopefully, if you are a welder/artist who could offer a class, some advice, or point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Kris Krafts is a 4 generation, family owned and operated gift store. My family and I decided to open a local crafters’ mall because there was no venue for the artisans of our area to sell their wares year round, Seven days a week. After 2 years of planning we finally opened our doors on January 24th of 2009.

Our suite is approximately 4,800 square feet and has the potential to display the wares of over 170 vendors.
Our family will provide some collectible items for our patrons, but they will be held to a minimum, so as not to take the focus off of the work of our artisans. It is our goal at Kris Krafts Gifts to have 90-95% of the products sold in our store to be hand crafted. It is for this reason that we have opted not to provide space for commercial retailers. We have also started a waiting list for Jewelry vendors. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

At the request of our vendors, we have also provided space for our artisans to hold classes and demonstrations and for our store to host special events.

The following is a recap of how our gift store operates:
•	6 Month lease
•	Rent due at the beginning of each month
•	( a 5% discount will be given if entire lease is paid at signing)
•	$30.00 Deposit
•	(Refunded when lease contract is completed in good standing)
•	10% Commission on all sales
•	2- Three hour vendor duty shifts per month: assisting cashier/ customers
•	(a great opportunity to see what our customers are looking for)
•	We provide the store front
•	We provide the cashier
•	Vendor sales tracked via computer
•	All transactions will be checked for accuracy
•	Print out of sales and check for proceeds given once a month
•	We will be open seven days a week (M-Sat 10-8:00, Sun 10-6:00)
•	We plan to advertise via newspaper and eventually radio and television

As fellow Crafters we are very aware of how much space cost can affect the profitability for our vendors. Every effort has been made to maintain rental rates that are affordable.
After calculating all of the overhead costs and comparing the rental rates for similar stores of this kind, we arrived at the following price ranges for our booths.

1 ft deep x 3 ft wide x 8 ft high $45.00

Looking for an easily-accessible ceramics studio that would allow me to fire some small handbuilt pieces made offsite, or somewhere that offers inexpensive open studio time. I'd be making most pieces completely at home - occasional access to a workspace and a storage shelf or two would be nice, but I primarily need to fire things. I do not own a car, so I'm limited to places I can easily access by bus or foot. On the 20 line is best, on 15 is helpful. I live near 28th & E Burnside so studios in the Laurelhurst/Sunnyside/Kerns area are great. I would most likely start firing things in earnest in Jan 2010. Please reply with business name, address, and cost for firing and/or studio time - thanks!

Gallery Seeking New Artist Member (Alberta Art District NE PDX)

The Talisman Gallery is a Not-For-Profit premier co-operative fine art gallery and is currently seeking a new member.

We look for artists who display mature work, and who have the ability to manage co-operatively with other working artists within an established fine art gallery that has been in operation since 1999.

Talisman Gallery is a cooperative art gallery owned and managed by local Portland Metro artists. Its charter is to promote a creative awareness, and to make the work of our memberships accessible within the Portland Metro community.

As a member of an established gallery such as Talisman you are given an exposure to potential clientele and an introduction into a larger society of artists, with the recognition of your work by those who appreciate and support the visual arts.

Located in the Alberta Arts District Talisman Gallery is provided abundant foot traffic beginning with the Last Thursday show. As a member of Talisman Gallery you are guaranteed two showings of your work per year, one as a two-member show, and one as a group show. Additionally membership in the Talisman Gallery affords you access to the patronage of Talismans mailing list and web site.

The Talisman Gallery promotes all forms of art from traditional representative, to abstract, sculpture, symbolic / conceptual work, and electronic media, giving each artist the freedom to develop individualistically and to work without the constraint of an imposed mode.

Talisman Gallery does not require a style preference nor do we demand “New Work”, and unlike a for-profit gallery, we accept both beginning artists fresh from art school, and established artists with an existing resume of mature work.

Upon submission your work will be reviewed by the Membership Committee and then voted upon by the complete Gallery Membership.

A member must be committed to their art, be able to dedicate their personal time of 4 to 8 hours per month to the gallery, and to comfortably afford a dues contribution of $95.00 per month with a one time $190.00 Escrow Deposit.

Each member retains an 85% commission rate on the sale of all work, and the gallery covers all advertising, and operational expenses from both sales and dues. This is a high percentage artist commission, and a low out of pocket cost to the member.

Please review our website at http://www.talismangallery.com and see what we are all about and if you are interested please contact the gallery at http://membership@talismangallery.com or contact Membership @ (503) 284-8800 for a Membership Application Packet.

Talisman is a Not-For-Profit premier fine art co-operative and is currently seeking a new member.

In 2006 this artist collective made the decision to increase their number from its current 15 to up to 22 or 25 members to expand the number of local artists that could join and be promoted.

We look for artists who display mature work, and who have the ability to manage co-operatively with other working artists within an established fine art collective that has been in operation since 1999.

This cooperative is managed by local Portland Metro artists. Its charter is to promote a creative awareness, and to make the work of our memberships accessible within the Portland Metro community.

As a member of an established collective such as Talisman you are given an exposure to potential clientele and an introduction into a larger society of artists, with the recognition of your work by those who appreciate and support the visual arts.

Located in the Alberta Arts District Talisman is provided abundant foot traffic beginning with the Last Thursday show. As a member you are guaranteed two showings of your work per year, one as a two-member show, and one as a group show. Additionally membership affords you access to the patronage of our mailing list and web site.

The Talisman supports and promotes all forms of art from traditional representative, to abstract, sculpture, symbolic / conceptual work, and electronic media, giving each artist the freedom to develop individualistically and to work without the constraint of an imposed mode.

As a collective we do not require a style preference nor do we demand “New Work”, and unlike a conventional for-profit gallery, we accept both beginning artists fresh from art school, and established artists with an existing resume of mature work.

Upon submission your work will be reviewed by the Membership Committee and then voted upon by the complete Membership.

A member must be committed to their art, be able to dedicate their personal time of 4 to 8 hours per month to the gallery, and to comfortably afford a dues contribution of $95.00 per month with a one time Entry Fee plus a $190.00 Escrow Deposit.

Each member retains an 85% commission, and the 15% covers all advertising, and operational expenses from both sales and dues. This is a high percentage artist commission, and a low out of pocket cost to each member.

Please review our website at http://www.talismangallery.com and see what we are all about and if you are interested please contact the gallery at http://membership@talismangallery.com, or contact call at (503) 284-8800 for a Membership Application Packet.
