PROJECT MANAGER
DESCRIPTION: Candidate will be responsible for delivering building stone projects from start to finish. Operations Manager will assign projects to him/her and he/she will handle RFPs, order confirmations, sample ordering and tracking, fabrication and inspection, packing/crating, shipping and delivery. Candidate will need to work and communicate clearly between US management and the client on this side, and YMSW China Operations staff and fabrication shops, ensuring jobs are delivered to specifications on time and on budget.
In addition, Candidate will need to understand and use job and logistics spreadsheets, and Access database tools, produce reports in Powerpoint, be detail oriented, self-starter and be able to develop a good rapport with clients.
Ideal candidate will also have international experience dealing in China with Chinese contractors or manufacturers and/or has other relevant knowledge of Chinese language or culture.
DUTIES:
SOURCING: Research and document materials information to support sales, marketing, and operations. As assigned and through independent research, locate and profile new materials or update existing materials. Post in China Operations and in Access Database.
