We currently have an opening for a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
Summary:
Fulfill maintenance needs for the facility and equipment for light manufacturing of small metal parts. Contribute to the team for equipment set-ups, die and fixture maintenance, maintain cooling tower chemical balance, and diagnose and solve machine problems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Facility maintenance and repair
• Equipment preventative maintenance
• Emergency repairs
• Secondary operations equipment set-up
• Light machining support for all departments
• Assure an inventory of maintenance parts
• Maintain equipment maintenance logs
Experience and Qualifications:
• Understand equipment function, diagnosis and repair. Must be a self starter to assure that assignments are successfully completed. Proper use of hand and power tools is required with safety awareness.
• Knowledge and experience of basic machine shop practices is expected.
• Lathe and Mill Machining Experience
• CNC a plus
• 5 years of maintenance background preferred
• High level of mechanical aptitude.
• Computer experience.
• Well organized.
• Ability to read and interpret documents (written in English) such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, talk, hear and see.
• Personal protective equipment is required when performing work including hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.
