Metropolitan Pediatrics is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide advice, triage, and care management for our Clackamas location. Incumbent is responsible for answering patient calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing current and accurate telephone advice. In conjunction with the physicians, incumbent will also develop, coordinate, and implement care goals for patients with special healthcare needs. Incumbent will provide triage for physicians, schedule appointments as necessary, and update Electronic Medical Record (EMR) with relevant information. The following is required:
• Understanding of clinic workflow.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, telephone, customer service, time management, and decision-making skills. Ability to work in a team environment and ability to multi-task essential.
• Pediatric care knowledge for advice and triage.
• Ability to educate and present to patients, families and peers.
• Current RN license in the State of Oregon.
• Degree from an accredited Nursing program with a focus on Pediatrics.
• Current CPR certification. 1-2 years experience in a family practice or pediatric clinical setting, preferably giving advice and performing triage.
• PALS certification preferred.
