New Docs-If you were to start your own practice, $1500 would get you a part-time receptionist only, never mind rent/utilities/build out/office equipment and procedures which are ready to go.  Also other opportunities like associate positions usually include non-competes that leave you with nothing when you decide to move on(and most will move on to their own practice later).<br>

Other Docs-Bring your existing patients and save some overhead and focus on your patients rather then managing the office.<br>
