I have over 15 years of engineering and drafting experience in the following fields:
*Project management of all phases of engineering projects;
*HVAC including load calculations, system sizing and duct design;
*DDC control schematics, design and bill of material generation;
*Piping systems, including sizing calculations, piping isometrics and site utilities;
*Building commissioning, including drafting test scenarios and validating the results;
*Mechanical building system analysis for potential energy savings and upgrades;
*Energy savings analysis including payback, energy savings calculations and rebates;
*Lighting retrofits with electrical savings and assistance in obtaining rebates;
*Civil engineering utilizing sewer system hydraulic modeling and AutoCAD LDD;
*Refrigeration system drafting and P&ID drawings; and
*3D part generation for manufacturing and some sheet metal layout.
Furthermore, I have my own copies of Microstation 95, AutoCAD 2008 and CHVAC to help get your project completed on time.
I deliver all engineering calculations in Excel format for your future use and verification.
I can do just about any kind of engineering graphics you may require when shown examples of what you’d like.
Also, I can import the CAD drawings for use in your company’s WebPages and marketing materials.
My educational background includes a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University and a Washington State E.I.T
as well as an associate’s degree in Automated Drafting Technology. At this time I am not a registered professional engineer.
My rates are very reasonable and vary depending on the nature of the work and complexity of the project.
Fees will be negotiated up front for each different type of project and can be a lump sum (NTE) amount or an hourly rate.
Drafting with no engineering requirements are usually an hourly rate per industry standards for a draftsman.
The ability for me to telecommute will save your company money as I charge less if I can save on transportation, travel time and office attire.
