HVAC CAD Draftsman – Vancouver, WA
We are currently seeking an Auto CAD Draftsman with HVAC experience. This individual will support project managers in site observation reports, review of design documents, Auto CAD designs, schedules, cost estimates, and project documentation. They will be required to attend and take meeting notes; interface with architects, general contractors and will have significant client/owner contact.
Qualified candidates must have:
A strong work ethic.
A Bachelors degree in Construction Management/ Architecture/Engineering or an industry related degree, or be working on one of the above degrees is highly desireable.
Auto CAD Experience in an HVAC environment.
Ability to demonstrate a professional, collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong relationship management and problem solving skills with clients and vendors.
Excellent written communication and report writing skills are needed.
Be willing to commute within the Portland metro area to client sites.
This is a junior level project management role in a commercial HVAC environment and will require a foundation of understanding of commercial HVAC methods and materials.
