Private optometry practice in Vancouver is looking for a part-time optician/front officer person to add to our team. Applicant must have previous optical experience, a friendly personality, and good communication skills.
Duties include:
-assisting patients with frame selection
-making lens recommendations
-measuring pupillary distance and segment height
-sending eyeglasses orders to optical lab
-dispensing and adjusting eye glasses
We have a terrific staff that thrives on a positive team environment. When not assisting patients on the optical floor, the optician is responsible for assisting the front desk with incoming phone calls and different task.
