We are a small [less than 50 employees], established and growing medical device company located in Vancouver, WA, currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist. Our Human Resources Generalist develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures and performs professional level responsibilities in a variety of personnel areas, such as; recruitment, classification, compensation, policy development, and employee relations. Duties include:
• Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures.
• Implement and update compensation program.
• Manage recruitment for exempt and nonexempt personnel.
• Advise management on employee relations; ensures employment actions are appropriate and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Establish and maintain employment records and reports.
The ideal candidate will have a strong generalist background and the ability to be a proactive, creative recruiter.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or closely related field, and two years professional level Human Resources experience. Experience in Biotechnology industry highly desired. EOE.
