Convergence Training is looking to add a talented media designer/developer to our team.
About Us
We are a smaller company that produces high-end training for the Pulp and Paper industry using 3d models and motion graphics. We enjoy a casual workplace, but our passion and pride for our work motivates us to do what it takes to satisfy our customers and get projects done on time. Most of our products are delivered via web-based systems so a strong knowledge of web principles is very helpful. Job roles are not rigid or strictly defined, and therefore employees that work well with a fluid, flexible, and evolving set of tasks will be the most successful.

About You
We are looking for someone with universal design skills that can apply his/her creative vision to help increase understanding and knowledge retention in our training products.
Specific tasks we need from you:
- Bring storyboards to life by interpreting suggestions from our writers and creating meaningful learning sequences using Adobe After Effects. A typical course includes between thirty to eighty 45-second videos with animated text, images, 3d renders combined with audio.
- Convert existing old or black/white line drawings of equipment into shaded, aesthetically pleasing, legible and meaningful PSDs or AIs
- Experience or interest in chemical processes, complex machinery, or industrial equipment is desirable
You should have experience using:
- After Effects
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- 3D Studio Max (version 2010)
