I took Lucky in when she was pregnant and a day away from giving birth. Her previous owner had neglected to get her spayed and was moving so could no longer keep her then very pregnant cat. The day after I took Lucky in she had two beautiful kittens. A week later she adopted another litter of five kittens whose mother abandoned them. She went from nursing and mothering two kittens to seven without a second thought and accepted them immediately. No one could even tell which kittens were hers and which ones weren't from her behavior.

All of the kittens were weaned, spayed/neutered, and adopted. Lucky, however, is still looking for a home of her own. She is up to date with vaccinations and has been spayed. There is a $50 adoption fee.

I am a Mommy of 2 very lovable poochies, (a med. sized cocka/beagle and a med. sized cocka/poo) They are so sweet, and love to play with other dogs! We have a nice sized back yard to run and play in, along with a large dog run with access to our whole garage!

If you are needing care for your dog during the day while you are at work, on the weekends while you are away, or even longer periods when you are out of town I would love to help! I have taken my doggies to a kennel before when I have been out of town, and knowing that they spent 80% of their time in individual kennels with out any other doggie interaction was too much for me to handle! I felt so horrible knowing that they were locked up, my husband and decided to cut our trip short!

After that experience I decided that I was going to open my home to inviting other families furry loved ones over to play. Whether it be just for the day or a week at a time! This is our home, where our dogs are a part of our family... So although they have much room outside to play, they will always be welcomed inside! You can assure yourself that if you were to bring your dog to us they would be getting love and attention ALL day long!! :)

*Must love children and other dogs

*Must be current on all vaccines

*Small-medium dogs preferred (up to 55 lbs.)

He is about 2 years old he is a black lab mix however not sure what mixed with (some say chow) He is great with small children and even infants. Lets them take toys from him, pull his ears, pull his tail never with a problem. He is great with cats when they will let him near them. He NEVER has accidents in the house. He has all his shots and is neutered. All around he is a GREAT dog
now to the bad. He is very protective and will growl and bark at anyone he does not know. he has NEVER bitten anyone or even snapped at them but has scared alot of people with his bark. Most people that come to our home he growls at and barks at. Usually if they talk to him maybe give him a treat let him come sniff them, and pet him he usually warms up. I think he can sense how you feel about dogs because people who are animal lovers he seems to warm up to sooner, however people who dont really like dogs he seems to growl at more. I believe his growling problem is because I used to be a long haul truck driver so he was alway home alone with my wife and son and was not socialized well.
Now here is the problem our home has been in the foreclosure process for a while now. Buddy weighs just under 90lbs and no rentals are willing to let us in with him, especially when they meet him and he barks at them.
We tried a while back on craigslist to re-home him and only got weird responses like someone wanting to come out to vancouver from oregon city on a bus to come get him. I did not feel right about that so I told the guy no. We have tried friends/ family/ etc with no luck he is just too big for all of them.
about a month ago we went down to the sw washington humane society to surrender him, however because of his behavior (the growling/ barking) they told us that there would be a very good chance they would have to put him down. I am an animal lover and we were not willing to let him be put down. Now it is getting down to the wire and we will have to move. So I must find a new home for him this weekend or we will be forced to take him to the pound anyway.
Buddy is great left home alone, however when you are home he will want attention, he loves huggs, kisses, and to be petted. He would be a great guard dog for anyone, however I would prefer someone who wants him as a companion not just a guard dog. However at this point I can not be too picky anything would be better than the pound putting him down.

I dont want all the e-mails about how I am a bad pet owner, that when I got a dog I should have planned on having it forever. I already know all this and I feel bad enough as it is I love my dog and hate to get rid of him. However things happen in life. I was a homeowner and never thought I would have to move again. but things happen to change our plans in life. If I could take my dog with me I would believe me. So your negative comments do nothing for anyone

Pepper was dumped on a farm three months ago along with her six 4-week old kittens. I took her and her kittens in and they all grew up to be strong and healthy. The kittens have all been adopted so Pepper is now looking for a home of her own. She doesn't mind dogs and is good with other cats.

Pepper has been spayed and vaccinated and she is litterbox trained. There is a $50 adoption fee to help cover the cost of her spay.

I am part of a Registered Foster Program for Dogs. We are currently Fostering Two Dogs: I found them running down a very street and knew NO ONE would probably stop for a Pit Bull. When I got them and located the owners 2 weeks later they told me to keep the F_ _ _ing Dogs? So we have been fostering them for the last 5 months, looking for the right home they deserve. If any of you can help that would be great as they are getting VERY attached.

The First one is an Awesome 1 year old Brindle Pit Bull who is a big love and likes all 5 of our BIG dogs, but LOVES our Female Pit the Best. They never stop playing until they are so tired they can't play anymore that is why we would love for him to live with a Female Pit. He was found with his friend who is also up for adoption (see Pics Below), we would have loved for them to adopted together, but as long as he is either able to be with someone most of the time or have a doggie sibling we feel he will be fine. Mr.Pitty has a tendency to be a little protective over food & his toys; he does not like anyone to have a toy but him (a little selfish right now) UPDATE: Now that he feels safe with us he is starting to share his toys more. Mr. Pit never does that with our Female Pit Bull, he backs down. He is laying right besides me at my Retail Clothing store sound asleep, what a DOLL! I just love him (I love them both)& if we did not already have 5 Large dogs he would be mine in a heartbeat!

Mr. Pitty is 1 old Brindle Pit Bull 45 lbs. & needs some work on his listening skills. UPDATE: Has learned to listen and is getting MUCH better. He actually has come along way in 5 months and will be a VERY awesome LOYAL forever Friend. He is just a big luv bug, he is most content when I sit with him and allow him to snuggle up in my lap with his little (OK Big) head resting in my lap. I have attached pictures of them for you to see how sweet they are. Mr. Pitty is nothing but a Big Goofy Baby, he is happiest being a "lap" dog! He does NOT do well with Cats, as he like to chase them. So far he has NEVER barked at anyone, just wags when he sees people and is really just happy all the time. I have taken him in to Vets., drive through places and he just ways his tail. He is Neutered, Microchiped, & current on all his shots!
I have not seen him with kids, but he is great with ALL our 5 big rescue dogs and 1 is a female Pit Bull (Daisy was the Pit allowed out of SWHS). We would love to get them into their forever home so that they can start bonding with their forever family. I want both of them to have the family and the life that they deserve. It will be a Happy & Sad (I will miss him terribly) day for me when they get their new family. I will take both of back for the rest of his life (no questions asked) or help with any medical bills if something should happen for the rest of their lives.
Mr. Blackie just turned 2, He is a Black Sheppard/Lab Mix and about 32 lbs & is just such a lover, he sleeps on the bed right next to you, he loves all other dogs, & you can tell that he had a good home at one time because he is just the easiest dog I have ever fostered. He know all his commands and both are house broken. He needs to be in a home where he is very loved and the people have time to spend with him as he loves humans and wants to always be with you and play. He loves cats and everything for that matter; he is the easy one and should get adopted very quick! If there is another dog in the home it should be one that is not very dominate, as he gets timid if he feels threatened. Mr. Blackie, is Neutered, Microchiped, current all his shots as I took them both in for a full exam and blood work, they are in great health.
They need to go to a NON SMOKING home where someone is knowledgeable on Strong Breeds for Mr. Pitty. Pitty should have some formal training with his forever guardian. They MUST go to a home with a Fenced Back Yard. If you would like to meet either one of these guys in person please contact me. As part of a registered Foster Program we NEVER give anyone a dog the day they meet them, there needs to be a transition period so that we do NOT create separation anxiety in them. You will be asked to provide Vet. References.
