A technical, 2 year degree or equivilant is required. A technical 4 year degree such as Computer Science or Computer Engeneering is preferred. A strong knowledge of HTML is required. Experience in Macromedia's ColdFusion MX 7/8 is preferred although strong knowledge of other scripting languages such as PHP, Pearl, Javascript, VBScript, etc. is acceptable if the candidate is able to rapidly master ColdFusion scripting (CFML). Basic understanding of relational database structures and SQL is required. Experience with Microsoft's Transact-SQL is preferred although ORACLE or MySQL experience is acceptable. Ability to troubleshoot and understand existing LAN hardware including simple routers, switches and DSL modems along with Windows 2003 servers, printers and scanners is required. Familiarity with object oriented concepts, specifically ColdFusion's implementation of these concepts as CFCs, a plus. Experience and/or understanding or Unicode and various character code pages a plus. Bilingual fluency is a plus. We are seeking a long-term relationship with an individual to grow within our company.
