The Vancouver Manufacturing Facility has an opening for a Maintenance Mechanic. Maintenance Mechanics troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems, reads schematics and uses electrical testing equipment. Also troubleshoot/repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, centrifugal and postiive displacement pumps. Operate lathes, mills, arc and heliarc welders for repair and fabrication. Key responsibilities are: Performing scheduled maintenance activities on operating equipment of the facility, Urgent Call repairs due to equipment breakdowns. Requirements: Completed apprenticeship program for multiple-craft mechanics or 3-5 years experience as a multi-craft mechanic, Willing to work off-shifts and weekends.
