FIND THE RELIEF YOU'VE BEEN LONGING FOR! Other approaches for dealing with chronic pain don't take into account the importance of a naturally aligned skeleton. The skeleton is the framework of support that dictates whether our muscles can be elastic and able to relax vs. contracted or overly lengthened. This is the overlooked and misunderstood cause of most chronic pain experienced by millions of people today. This approach is not only effective for addressing back pain, but also pain in the neck, hip, knee, ankle and feet, including plantar faciitis, heel spurs and bunions.

We will re-learn how to sit, stand, bend, walk�even sleep�in ways everyone once knew as healthy toddlers, before we adopted unhelpful habits of use. You will be amazed how helpful this is for finding ease of movement and freedom from pain. Just as important, learning to align one's bones is the ultimate anti-aging medicine, providing tools for maintaining extended spines and easy flexibility. Photographic examples of people in their 80s and 90s that clearly demonstrate this fact will be viewed during the class.

Taught by Kathleen Porter, author of Ageless Spine, Lasting Health, this six-week course focuses on fundamental principles of alignment that help unwind muscular habits and tensions that have become locked into our bodies. This approach offers remarkable results, leading a painful or stiff body back to its natural "home base" of comfort, where aligned bones support us, so that muscles can be released from having to struggle.

You will learn how to apply these principles to everything you do, whether it is sitting at a computer, weeding your garden, running a marathon, lifting a heavy object, practicing yoga or any activity of your choosing. The Brody Theater offers a full course of study in improvised acting including public performance opportunities for dedicated students at the advanced levels. To Whom It May Concern:

Regarding yesterday's posting about my horrid experience with the Attic on Hawthorne, Mr. Biespiel has since e-mailed me and pointed out a part of their website where they state that they do not do refunds after the first class.
I simply did not know about it so they actually aren't obligated to pay me back.
I apologize for the misinformation. It was not my intent to state any incorrect information. I thought that I had all of the facts--I was missing that one fact.

My opinion of their workshop and their attitudes still stands and I don't think their policy is fair but they literally aren't obligated to pay me back a single dime.

As for those I contacted previously with complaints I will have to send follow-up letters informing them of this and from tonight forward I consider the whole matter dropped and will not be contacting Mr. Biespiel or anyone at the Attic ever again.

Curious about learning to ballrom dance? Waltz is the most traditional of all the ballroom dances...not to mention fun and easy to learn!

Join us this Wednesday October 15 6:30-7:30pm for a Beginners Waltz class open to the public. Most people come to these classes as individuals, though pairs and groups are welcome as well.

Tuition is $9 for the class, or if you'd like to attend an entire 5 week series (This Wednesday, plus the next 4 Wednesdays at 6:30) tuition is $35 for the entire 5 weeks. You do not have to attend all 5 weeks, and drop-ins are welcome.

Attendees should wear leather-soled shoes, not rubber-soled shoes. Leather soled boots also work. Ladies please don't wear flip-flops, mules or stilletos. Men please don't wear tennis shoes.

You do not have to pre-register for class. Just show up the first day of class a few minutes early to sign in and pay. We accept cash, checks or credit card payment.

The Ballroom Dance Company is located in Tigard at 8900 SW Commerical Street. When you turn onto Commercial Street you can see us -- look for the burgundy and tan building with a large lighted "BALLROOM" marquis on the street. If our lot is full, there's plenty of street parking available.

Alternative Digital Fine Art Printmaking (Cedarwood School)

Join Artists Lyn Bishop and Nance Paternoster for an Intensive playshop designed to take your Digital Images and Photography beyond the standard inkjet print. Participants will work with their own comleted digital imagery with the focus on outputting files to alternative surfaces such as acrylic skins, handmade paper, non-porous surfaces, and transfer film. Participants will complete several techniques in alternative digital fine art printmaking during the workshop with and emphasis on exploration, experimentation and developing new approaches to printing their Digital Images.
� Create Monoprint transfers onto paper and wood
� Create dramatic luminescent prints using pearlescent undercoatings
� Create flexible gel skins to use as alternative surfaces
� Create textured, fresco like surfaces

� Print using Epson wide format printer using Archival Inks
� Use Golden products and precoats for surface prep

Please note students should be proficient in Photoshop and prepared to bring their completed digital files to class. This playshop focuses on outputting digital files to alternative surfaces and does not cover aspects of image creation.
