Position Responsibilities:

� Building prototype parts using a variety of materials including polymer, aluminum, steel and stainless.

This Position: Electrical Engineer -- Battery Systems
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: (include, but not limited to):

This Electrical Engineer is responsible for electrical design of portable power systems which includes the battery pack circuitry electronic integration into the host device and charger. This position also has responsibility for integrating new battery power circuit technology into Micro Power reference designs and customer applications. Responsibility also includes technical leadership in product development projects in conjunction with other cross-functional team members. Technical expertise in battery circuit design is of prime importance.

Sales Support & Product Development
1. Work with sales to identify best value solutions, create sales samples, and provide quotation information for battery systems.
2. Create and present technical presentations for customers and industry symposiums.
3. System designs for all custom battery pack applications.
4. Technical lead role in identifying product requirements and specific design requirements.
5. Design reviews, design & product verification testing plans, testing, and reports.
6. Supply chain recommendations and performance assessments.
7. Successfully communicate and interact with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, Quality, and Manufacturing.
8. Design support for customer RMAs.
9. Ongoing production support for electrical engineering issues as needed.
10. Must be able to support ITAR projects and products.

Technology Development
1. Customer and supplier technology roadmap tracking and technology integration into Micro Power designs.
2. Resource support for reference designs development.
3. Invention disclosures of intellectual property.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work with cross-functional teams on issue resolution.
