Position Overview:
ANPC manufactures navigation aids for landing aircraft into airports surrounded by hills or other terrain features that preclude the use of traditional landing systems. We have a requirement for an electrical hardware designer to aid with the development new landing system and positioning products.
We are looking for a self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented person who holds an Associates or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. This person must have a good understanding of board-level digital and analog electronics. Experience with schematic capture and familiarity with PCB layout is desired. Familiarity with documentation control procedures and generating bills of materials is desired.
This person should require minimum supervision in a schedule-driven environment. The ability to read and interpret documents and engineering specifications is required. Candidates must be highly organized and detail oriented, with strong written and oral communications skills, and able to interface successfully with others on the team.

Position Requirements:
• Setup and maintain PCB footprint and schematic symbol libraries
• Complete PCB layout work using PADS
• Manage materials for prototype PCB builds
• Work with documentation control to create new part numbers and BOMs
• Identify and evaluate alternate manufacturers for sole sourced and discontinued parts
• Minimum Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Ability to re-locate to Hood River, Oregon.
