Ideal candidates will have several years prior cooking experience in a fast paced high volume kitchen, and a successful tenure as a kitchen supervisor with responsibilities in inventory management and staffing and training. An associates degree or related culinary degree is a plus, but is not a requirement.
<br>

Current experience with ChefTec or any other inventory and recipe software a plus.  Must be committed to a 48-53 hour work week. Computer skills are required. Drug screen and background check required on job offer.

The business was just recently a dot-com start-up but now has over 70 employees and expects significant growth in 2010 and beyond. QualitySmith maintains its start-up feel with a fast-paced, fun, innovative culture. The Controller candidate will have experience as an accountant for a fluid business that depends on frequent and accurate accounting and financial reporting.<br>
<br>
PURPOSE: To monitor, report on, and forecast all revenue and expenses for multiple business lines. Provide financial support for the organization through timely & accurate reporting and forecasting.<br>
<br>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br>
    * Track revenue by line of business, comparing week over week, month over month, and year over year<br>
    * Manage the accounting function to include weekly, monthly and annual P&L analysis, balance sheet review and financial statement reporting<br>
    * Perform and continuously improve the monthly close process for financial statement preparation<br>
    * Monitor expenses for necessity and for accurate coding, and make recommendations for changes<br>
    * Ensure Federal and Washington State taxes are figured correctly and paid on time<br>
    * Weekly, monthly and annual reporting and analysis of key metrics and trends pertaining to the company’s overall financial performance<br>
    * Review, test and improve existing accounting practices, procedures and internal controls for compliance with GAAP<br>
    * Prepare and continuously monitor budgets and cash flow projections by line of business<br>
    * Prepare forward-looking financial forecasts based on past performance and future expectations<br>
    * Provide direct business and financial support to operations and senior level management<br>
    * Prepare numbers with the aim of presenting those numbers to outside investors and/or raising additional capital<br>
<br>
QUALIFICATIONS:<br>
    * Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting or controller position<br>
    * Experience working in a fast-paced business environment<br>
    * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required. Master’s or CPA is preferred but not required.<br>
    * Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with all levels of internal and external customers<br>
    * Experience in preparing financial reports for external review by investors<br>
    * Advanced skills with various accounting software (MAS90, QuickBooks, Excel, etc.) as well as advanced technical skills as it relates to relational databases<br>

Responsibilities:<br>

Essential Functions/ Major Responsibilities:<br>
• Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients and employees. <br>

• Responsible for maintaining contact with existing accounts through personal client visitation.<br>

• Administer and produce Payroll and its deliverables for assigned clients.<br>
• Administer, introduce, monitor, deliver and train benefit programs for clients.<br>
• Support Worker’s Compensation/Risk Management administrative functions.<br>

Tasks:<br>
• Provide staffing services including:<br>

o development and/or revisions to client’s payroll input spreadsheets; and<br>
o train client payroll contact in the use of BBSI spreadsheets/payroll process.<br>

o reconciliation and premium processing;<br>
o invoicing of client for premium activity;<br>
o client member participation, enrollments, changes and terminations;<br>
o process deduction reimbursements to correct benefit vs. payroll issues;<br>
o monitor client open enrollment for development/improvements to carrier<br>
o COBRA initiation and surveillance<br>
o medical support order monitoring,  response/initiation;<br>
o support and respond to client and employee needs/inquiries<br>
<br>
• Provide support for workman’s compensation/risk management program<br>
o reconciliation and premium processing;<br>
o invoicing of client for premium activity;<br>
o claims administration as needed in cooperation with branch manager<br>
<br>
• Document client relationship activities in corporate HR Services tracking database.<br>
<br>
Qualifications:<br>
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent.<br>
• Eight to ten years HR generalist experience or equivalent.<br>
• Prior experience in or exposure to payroll processing; or an aptitude or ability to learn how to process payroll, including knowledge of wage and hour laws.<br>
• Valid driver’s license<br>

Position Overview:<br>
ANPC manufactures navigation aids for landing aircraft into airports surrounded by hills or other terrain features that preclude the use of traditional landing systems.  We have a requirement for a Customer Support Manager to perform field work at site installations around the world, act as ANPC’s primary technical support contact for existing customer base and as new customer systems come on line, and act as a company liaison to customers during the planning, installation, and support phases of a system purchase.<br>
We are looking for a self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented person who holds an Bachelors Degree in an appropriate engineering field.  This person must have a good understanding of customer support and project management.  Fluency in several languages, in particular, Spanish, would be a plus.<br>

The ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, as well as construction and engineering specifications is required. Position Overview:<br>

ANPC manufactures navigation aids for landing aircraft into airports surrounded by hills or other terrain features that preclude the use of traditional landing systems. We are looking for a self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented person who holds an Associates or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.  This person must have a good understanding of board-level digital and analog electronics.  Experience with schematic capture and familiarity with PCB layout is desired.  Familiarity with documentation control procedures and generating bills of materials is desired.<br>

This person should require minimum supervision in a schedule-driven environment.  The ability to read and interpret documents and engineering specifications is required. As the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for supporting the Chef in managing the following “back of the house” activities:

•	Ensuring excellent food quality
<br>
•	Recipe adherence
<br>
•	Managing kitchen personnel
<br>
•	Skilled in working and training all positions in the kitchen
<br>
•	Expediting
<br>
•	Fostering a cooperative and collaborative work environment with the front of the house personnel
<br>
•	Food purchasing and inventory management
<br>
•	Safety and sanitation in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
<br>

<br>
The Sous Chef must act as a team leader and motivator for the kitchen staff, thus strong interpersonal skills and being a clear communicator is a necessity. Must be able maintain a calm presence during high volume and stressful situations and must enhance our team oriented restaurant staff.
<br>

<br>
Ideal candidates will have several years prior cooking experience in a fast paced high volume kitchen, and a successful tenure as a kitchen supervisor with responsibilities in inventory management and staffing and training. An associates degree or related culinary degree is a plus, but is not a requirement.
<br>

<br>
Current experience with ChefTec or any other inventory and recipe software a plus.  Must be committed to a 48-53 hour work week. Computer skills are required. Drug screen and background check required on job offer.
<br>

The Oregon Veterans Home opened in the fall of 1997, and is a 151-bed long-term care facility that provides skilled nursing, Alzheimer and other dementia, and inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative care to veterans, spouses of veterans, and parents all of whose children died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.  The therapy department offers acute in patient and out patient therapy. Consonus means to blend, to harmonize, to create something exceptional, and that is exactly what has occurred with the Oregon Veterans Home and our therapy team which have become part of a family. Our therapy department focuses on a variety of programs including Stroke Recovery, Orthopedic Rehab, Contracture Management, Cognitive Retraining, Prosthetic/Orthotic Training, Management of Swallow Dysfunction and much much more. <description><![CDATA[Sunflower School, an established preschool in Hood River, OR, seeks a year round, part time teaching assistant to start December 1.  Applicants must be creative, reliable, dedicated, self motivated, authentic, self reflective and genuinely engaged by work with preschool age children.  A degree (AA, BA/BS) in ECE/Human Development is preferred, or have or be working on CDA equivalent.  Pay is $14 per hour, plus six weeks paid vacation per year.  No benefits at this time.<br>

Responsibilities of position include:<br>
- Having the physical and emotional capacity for six hours of daily classroom time (four days a week), building healthy on-going relationships working with young children and their families<br>
- Open and constructive communication with colleagues and parents<br>
- Observation and documentation<br>
- Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum responsive to children's interests<br>
