Summit Projects, an independently owned interactive agency located in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge in Hood River, Oregon, is recruiting for an Account Manager to join our team. Our client list includes some of the most recognized and well-respected brands in the world.

Summary of the position
The Account Manager is the primary client contact, responsible for client communication and relationship building. Account Managers lead cross-functional project teams and will serve as liaison between team members and the client. AMs are responsible for managing all aspects of assigned accounts and projects with emphasis on thorough, efficient and timely completion. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, previous agency experience, plus experience in traditional marketing, new technology and interactive media are mandatory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Serve as primary client contact to nurture client relationships and work with other team members to grow the value of the account.
- Lead projects from conception to launch, partnering with a project manager to manage all aspects of projects including budgets, timelines, work scope, technical specs, etc.
- Develop a clear understanding of the clients business objectives, challenges, target audience and growth/expansion expectations to assist in building online solutions that will provide both immediate and long-term success
- Guide project teams that include creative and technical talent so that Summit is set up to successfully meet the clients project goals and objectives.
- Anticipate and identify project risks and respond appropriately.
- Manage project accounting for all assigned projects. Includes developing budget, hour tracking, reconciliation, invoicing and client reports.
- Provide updates of projects and the client relationship to the Senior Account Director.
- Keep updated records and documentation of clients meetings, conversations, change requests, etc.
- Prepare and drive meetings – including preparing agendas, keeping meetings focused, establishing a next steps and responsibility list.
- Schedule and perform project reviews with internal team and with client.
- Foster open communication with internal team members – engaging them on all correspondence, send frequent updates and project status reports. Establish status meetings or review process with team and client.
- Prepare all documentation including creative briefs, estimates, timelines, work scope requirements, technical specification with internal team to provide proper documentation of project for the client.
- Ensure quality assurance goals are met including proofreading and application testing.
- Generate monthly report content for clients.
