What does a Visiting Angel do?
As a non-medical, living assistance service, care for our clients will range from simple companionship that may include A.D.L.s, light housekeeping, meal preparation and errands for senior citizens in need of a little assistance or those clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s. We also handle more complex cases when care is needed for a Multiple Sclerosis, stroke, cancer, or post-operative client in which bathing, incontinence care, personal hygiene and complex transferring may be involved. We also provide respite or hospice care when needed.

Job Summary
The position provides primary care, urgent care, occupational health, case management, and emergency services. The Mid-level Practitioner provides the various categories of care as noted above, making independent clinical decisions with consultation and collaboration with PIMMS physicians.
Ancillary position duties include supervision and scheduling of part time Mid Level Practitioners, formulary management, as well as some minor marketing duties with our corporate clients.
Practice is M-F day shift with one weekend of call per month as well as some weekday call.
Essential Job Functions
• Management of chronic health problems in conjunction with PIMMS physician staff.
• Primary care for trauma patients, including suturing and other procedures.
• Perform simple CLIA waived laboratory tests and interpret laboratory test data.
• Conduct primary care site visits to patients on vessels in the Columbia River.
• Provide occupational health examinations and education to patients.

• Candidates must be eligible for licensure in both Oregon and Washington.

Requirements include:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field with a minimum of 2 years experience in the field with equal experience supervising the implementation of policies/procedures and systems as well as supervising staff.
Or a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field with a minimum of 4 years experience in the field with equal experience supervising the implementation of policies/procedures and systems as well as supervising staff.
Must have knowledge of OAR’s in 24-hour group home and employment programs and extensive know of quality assurance, staff supervision and training pertaining to OAR regulations and standards. Position also requires being an approved Oregon Intervention Systems (OIS) Mentor.
Duties include:
Providing staff training; OIS training; ELP facilitator and overall administrative duties.
Computer skills required; with experience using Power Point and Word Processing.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
1. Education or experience sufficient to meet position requirements.
2. First level accounting, or basic bookkeeping course or prior long term care
bookkeeping experience is strongly recommended.
3. General computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel
and Word.
4. Working knowledge of office machines (copier, fax, phone systems, etc.)
5. Good organizational and communication skills.
6. Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents,
families, community members, volunteers and other facility staff. Possess
special interest in, and a positive attitude about, working with long-term care

New Heights Integrative Therapy, Inc is a privately owned outpatient physical therapy clinic that specializes in manual therapy. Our clinic was established in 1997 and has gained much respect in the local medical community. We are a warm and friendly clinic in a non-medical atmosphere.
We are seeking an experienced PT to fill a full time position. If you have 4 or more years experience with a strong manual therapy focus, great communication skills, and a desire to grow, then we would love to here from you.
We have physical therapists who are instructors with the Ola Grimsby Institute & North American Institute of Manual Therapy. Our therapists also have advanced training in one or more of the following concepts: OGI, NAIOMT, Mulligan, Barnes, ASTYM and Strain Counter Strain. Our therapists have daily opportunities to consult with and share ideas with each other.
We create individualized exercises based on STEP (Scientific Therapeutic Exercise Progression) using pulleys, Pilates equipment, and a shuttle balance system. We also work with spinal un-weighing, cervical oculomotor training, and frequency specific microcurrent.
