TEAM has an immediate opening for a warehouse manager position. This position will be in charge of all aspects of the warehouse daily operation and will report directly to the Operations Manager. This is a military approved warehouse and is inspected regularly by military personnel. The ideal candidate is in charge of:
• Receiving of shipments, including proper inspection for damage and proper check off to ensure all pieces are accounted for.
• Ensuring military compliance on all levels of warehouse activity
• Consolidation of Household Goods into vaults
• Supervision of warehouse crews
• Oversight of the inventory system
• Upkeep of the warehouse
Required Skills:
• At least 5 years of both stand up and sit down forklift experience
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• At least 5 years of furniture handling experience
• Ability to prove leadership skills in a dangerous environment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or greater on a regular basis
• Class C Drivers license or CDL (B or A)
Preferred Skills (but not required)
- Direct Moving and Storage experience including supervisory experience with the following skill sets:
- Loading of trucks
- Handling of furniture
- Inventory writing
- Exception taking
- Military documentation
- Experience with military TOPS and NTS compliance
- Woodworking skills, including:
- Wooden Vault Repair
- External Crate construction
- Box Truck floor repair
