Why make a collage?

Leader: Susan Schenk

It’s easy, you don’t have to draw, it’s quick, it’s inexpensive and it’s fun. It can also be therapeutic, and helpful in letting your inner artist have a voice. If you can rip paper and spread paste, you can collage. There are no mistakes. If some part is not pleasing to you, you simply paste something over it. In this class participants will learn about several kinds of collage, but the demonstration will be on making a collage that looks like a painting. There will be examples of the other kinds, and you will be free to do whatever you want since the basic technique is the same for all collages.

One Saturday a month throughout the fall and into the winter from 11am-2pm. Come and join the collage community, bring a lunch (microwave & toaster oven on-sight).

From 11am-2pm
November 21st
December 12th

Cost: Cost: $15 per person
