Think Globally Act Locally
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing you in regard to the land you own or manage.
Our organization is holding its annual not for profit, family orientated, community event June 13-15th 2008. It’s the fifth annual June Bug Jamboree Festival. We were wondering if you or your organization would be interested in providing a venue for this community event.
We can offer our ecological expertise and community support in trade for space. We are experienced and professional with performing on site ecological restoration work and invasive weed eradication prior to and during our events. In fact this has worked best in the past as an interactive community focus for the event. We will build the event around your specific needs. We are experienced and professional in creating community events.
Last years event generated 14 community sponsors 8 bands and 300 participants. We anticipate 300 participants (over the entire weekend) this year. Activities for Friday and Saturday would include educational workshops, restoration work, music, dancing and art. Sunday is always reserved for reflection, closing ceremonies and cleanup.
Please let me know at your earliest convenience if you are interested. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions? We would be proud to put your name and contribution on our flyer advertisement, website and announce your support to the local community.
Please check out our website for more information about our community organization and good intentions www.earthcommunityalliance.org
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Nate Woodard
