CMI is currently hiring for the position of Concierge. This is a 28.75 hour per week, non-exempt position. The hours are 3:15 pm – 9:00 pm Sunday through Thursday. It is expected that the person hired for this position will work all days assigned, even if a holiday falls on one of the assigned days. These hours are subject to change depending on the needs of our clients.
This position is responsible for the day-to-day customer service and monitoring of an upscale condominium located in the South Waterfront. The successful candidate will have: a minimum of 3 years customer service experience; experience using MS Office Suite and custom database software; the ability to communicate professionally with residents, management, contractors and vendors; and the ability to adjust to the changing needs that arise in the operation of a building. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of excellent customer service and be at least 18 years old to accept wine deliveries. Availability to work additional hours and holidays, or to fill in for other concierge staff at all properties CMI manages, is a plus.
Other job duties include screening and maintaining a record of all visitors, contractors, and deliveries; provide and control access to contractors and vendors; accept and/or coordinate access for deliveries and hold packages for pick up by residents following established policies; coordinating dry cleaning and laundry services; make available information to residents for personal services and search for new services, restaurants, and upcoming events; generate and maintain contact lists; display all communications to the buildings; stay current on Association’s procedures as they relate to emergencies, policies and procedures; attend training to become familiar with building systems, especially the fire alarm system requirements, and continually monitor the building systems; learn and follow emergency procedures; check exterior doors to ensure they are closed; produce and submit reports as may be required by the Board of Directors; conduct quality assurance inspections to note special cleaning or repair needs of the common areas; use custom database software to log calls and track letters, rule violations, architectural changes, service requests, bid requests, activities in units and common areas, and pull updated owner/tenant information when required; track and schedule move in/out activities, ownership changes, tenant rental information and other types of information; facilitate newspaper delivery; log reports of incidents; administration of Amenities Room and Guest Suite including accepting reservations, conducting walk-thru with owner who reserved or guests, collect deposit and/or payment; other tasks as may be assigned by the Community Manager or requested by the Board.
