Facilities employees are responsible for cleaning, repairing, and generally maintaining the campuses of the College. They may be given the responsibility for one or more of the maintenance functions listed below.


The positions above may perform all or some of the activities below.
•Cleans and maintains classrooms, restrooms, offices, lounges, and other common areas to quality standards and per schedule.
•Empties trash receptacles.
•Vacuums all classrooms, offices, lounges, and other common areas.
•Does necessary minor repairs and painting.
•Moves and stocks supplies.
•Sets up for campus events and takes down set-up at the conclusion of the event.
•Observes and communicates maintenance needs such as lights in parking lot out.
•Locks and unlocks buildings per schedule as directed. As applicable, sets alarm.
•Walks and/or observes students going to cars in the evening.
•Provides ground maintenance as needed.
•Runs errands, as required.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
•Ability to lift packages and move furniture and equipment.
•Knowledgeable in procedures and safety measures as applicable.
•A valid State Driver License will be required for certain employees in this category.
