Event rental company is seeking an event coordinator to join our team. This person will be responsible for duties in a very fast, busy, high energy office.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Answers incoming calls from customers
• Answers questions from customers on products and/ or directs them to the person that is able to assist them.
• Primarily responsible for assisting corporate accounts to coordinate events
• Notifies scheduling of any unusual and extraordinary need for product.
• Set up and processes orders.
• Maintain price quotes and rental reservations and place in appropriate files.
• Process customer orders/changes according to established department policies and procedures.
• Call customers when necessary to advise delay and/ or information necessary to process orders.
• Sets up, maintains and processes standing orders as needed.
• Works closely with customer service manager providing daily support to the department.
• Check orders for accuracy.
• Handles or routes customer questions, problems, or complaints, completing any required paperwork.
• Maintains customer service files on a daily basis.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS

• Ability to represent company in a professional manner.
• Ability to deal effectively with others.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to be a team player.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND/ OR EXPERIENCE
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training
• Excellent problem-solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to use proper judgment regarding customer methods, credit request, and proper dating requirements.
• Strong computer experience with Microsoft office products, candidate will be tested in EXCEL.
• Ability to handle upset customers in a professional manner.
• Experience or knowledge in the event industry.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
