I can see myself in the same kind of situation months from now, with lots of digital files all needed color correction and sound synchronization (making sure the sounds match the lips). Sure, you can always correct the colors by making wild guesses, but as for mixing and remixing the sound, it helps to have a reliable file of the ambient background sound. (Geeze, why else would I be buying so many microphones and digital audio recorders, than I anticipate the worst possible case, the sound just isn't good enough for a theater's projection system?)

Naturally, I too am curious.
