Your Qualifications:
Professional childcare experience is always helpful and appreciated, but not a requirement. However, experience with small children in some capacity is a must!
You must be enrolled in the Criminal History Registry before your first interview. It is a simple thing and takes only about a week if you have lived in Oregon for the last 18 months. You should start the process now, if you plan on working at any legal childcare facility in Oregon. You can call 800.556.6616 for help on this. Online registration available at

Within the first 30 days of employment, you will need to be certified in Pediatric CPR & First Aid, take a Recognizing a Reporting Child Abuse Class and have a food handlers card. There is also a 40-hour early childhood education home study course all our employees take within the first 3 months of employment.
You need to be kind, fun, goofy, playful, happy, think on your feet, multi tasker, dependable, honest, well spoken and be able to work well with the other providers.
Hours and Days:
8-5:30 Monday - Friday (1 hour break must be taken on site)
Salary:
You will work 42.5 hours per week and the starting salary is $1600. - $1800.00 per month, depending on experience. We process our payroll through Wells Fargo and you are paid on the 5th and the 20th each month.
Vacation and Holidays:
At the end of your successful 60-day trial period you will be paid for all Cloud Nine closed holidays. After six months of employment you qualify for a one-week paid vacation. And upon the completion of one full year employment, will be given two vacation weeks paid (Christmas and Summer). There are 8 Cloud Nine closed, paid holidays.
