Dog lodging & training facility seeks part-time staff members to help clean the facility in the evenings and work with and supervise dogs. This is a part-time job, 10-12 hours Tu, Thur, and Fri afternoon with other shifts possibly available in the future. The position will involve lots of cleaning, feeding and caring for doggy guests, and monitoring dogs during play. Must be comfortable working with large groups of dogs and ideally be familiar with dog behavior and body language. The work place includes an outdoor space and it is important to be comfortable working outside in all types of weather.
We are looking for hard working people who are interested in dog behavior & training and would like to learn more about dogs. Prior experience is very important, but being a hard worker and having a willingness to learn is even more important. Working with dogs is much more than what you might see on TV. It is hard work but is very rewarding for those interested in dogs and dog behavior.
