Your Next Step, a Portland nonprofit agency, is holding our first fundraising event this Saturday and we need more attendees! Here are the details:

Event: Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction
Date/Time: November 28, 2009, 5:30pm
Location: Lake Oswego Christian Center (17555 SW Bryant Rd, Lake Oswego 97035)
Tickets: $8-Adults and $4-Kids (under 12)
Other: Tickets can be bought at the door. All attendees will be automatically entered into our drawings for prizes!

A little about our agency: We believe that at some point, each one of us could use a hand to help overcome an unexpected financial roadblock. We aim to help people from all walks of life by providing small, one-time grants to creditors/merchants on behalf of hard-working Oregonians faced with this difficult situation. For some, that crisis might be an unexpectedly large bill after a layoff. For others, the uphill battle of re-integrating into daily life after prison or treatment for addiction. We offer 2 distinct programs to meet our clients' needs and all grant payments are paid directly to the merchant to pay off our clients' bill.
