Holland Residential is currently seeking a Residential Assistant Maintenance Manager with previous maintenance experience (HVAC certified) for Ladd, a beautiful 332 unit luxury urban apartment community in downtown. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your talent, vision, drive, and experience to our Residential Team.
Qualified candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, sound management skills, & proven decision-making ability. We are seeking a driven Maintenance Professional with a minimum of two to three years previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance or related trade. A minimum of one-year previous supervisory experience with urban high-rise experience is preferred. This position requires strong technical as well as management experience.
The Holland Team consists of Associates that demonstrate strong leadership, communication, team-building, and decision-making skills.
Must be able to diagnose problems with and repair the following:
Major Appliances
Elevator operations
HVAC -including central plant chillers
Basic – Intermediate Plumbing -including condensing boiler operation
Basic – Intermediate Electrical (when no license required) -including fire panel operations
Sheetrock
General Carpentry
Pool Care (if required by property)
Pest Control (if required by property)
Gutters
Painting
Must have competency in the following:
Excellent communication, organizational and coordinating abilities.
Computer literacy
Ability to deal well with people
Good verbal and written communication skills
The ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks concurrently
Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally
Driver’s License
