The Service Agent supports the branch in providing our award-winning customer service by ensuring our vehicles are clean and ready to rent.

 

This position is located at our North Portland location on Lombard Ave.

The Service Agent is responsible for the care and maintenance of the cars on the lot.  The Service Agent cleans vehicles inside and out (vehicles are cleaned by hand/brush), performs regular maintenance (non-mechanical services, checking fluid levels, changing tires), moves vehicles, and performs other duties assigned by the manager, all completed in a safe and timely manner.

• Clean vehicle exterior by hand, brush
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body, by hand
• Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)
• Determine need for and add windshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze
• Perform basic maintenance check: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
• Verify appropriate stickers are attached to vehicle (registration, plates, etc.)
• May be responsible for maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies
• May assist with local automobile deliveries
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol related event on driving record in the past 5 years (i.e. DUI, DWI, failed breath test, diversion agreement, etc.)
• Must be able to lift 30 lb. in order to assist customers
• Must demonstrate job stability (fewer than two terminations, aside from layoff or reduction in force, within the past 5 years)
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship, now or in the future (e.g. H-1B Visa status)
• Must be available to work up to 30 hrs week during the following hours:
  • Monday 10am to 530 pm
  • Thursday 10am to 530pm
  • Friday 7am to 5pm
  • Saturday 830am to 2pm
