Summary:
The Tripwire Customer Advocate is a marketing professional with a track record of success in managing customer-centric marketing activities that include & impact our global installed base. The Tripwire Customer Advocate will be responsible for delivering a clear and compelling plan of how to engage, communicate, educate and empower our customers and develop & execute creative, realistic go-to-market plans. This role is responsible for managing customer events worldwide, managing the overall strategy & approach of the online customer forum, and cultivating customer success stories to enable PR, case studies & sales references. The Tripwire Customer Advocate must be able to work with & manage cross-functional teams and leverage support for the creation of customer-focused marketing.

Responsibilities:
* Customer Marketing Go-to-Market Leadership
o Plan, develop, execute & sustain all elements of customer marketing go-to-market initiatives, including strategy, customer input, internal & external positioning & messaging, account enablement, and demand generation & thought leadership communications activity.
* Tripwire Customer Conference
o Drive and develop the key themes, messages, agenda & presentations for annual customer conference. Proactively communicate & get buy-in from internal stakeholders.
o Collaborate with account teams to identify, cultivate & engage with key customers to participate, speak and attend. Facilitate all speaker management needs.
o Manage & execute all event logistics including venue identification & negotiations, food & beverage, registration, advertising and communications.
* Tripwire Customer Center
o Drive overall online community strategy, programs, promotions and communication. Assist in moderating the customer forum and facilitating response(s) to potential issues.
* Regional Customer Events & Meetings
o User Groups – collaborate with regional sales & account teams worldwide to coordinate all aspects of Tripwire User Group meetings including venue logistics & planning, speaker management, and communications.
o Focus Groups – on an as-needed basis (ad hoc) collaborate with Product Management to identify & qualify customers to participate, help manage & plan event logistics and communications.
o Advisory Summits – on an as-needed basis (quarterly) collaborate with Product Management to identify & qualify customers to participate, help manage & plan event logistics and communications.
* Customer References
o Identify successful customer accounts with close collaboration of the sales teams, cultivate ongoing relationship to ensure success with selective accounts, and build programs to encourage that success is communicated to the marketplace. Enable customer references for internal & external needs.
o Define and champion customer case studies.
o Develop customer PR opportunities by collaborating with PR team and enabling the sales force to have customers participate.
Minimum Education and Experience:
* Bachelor of Science, Business Administration or Communications required.
* 3+ years experience in enterprise software marketing, including the use of customer marketing as a vehicle in go-to-market efforts. Compliance/Security products and solutions preferred.
* Management of marketing activities, specifically corporate events, social media, PR and customer marketing is required.
* Must demonstrate an outstanding track record of leadership.
* Must demonstrate the ability to formulate, communicate, and establish overall strategy and plans.
* Must demonstrate outstanding communications skills, both written and verbal.
* Must demonstrate good teamwork skills, including the ability to collaborate and build consensus in a cross-functional team decision situation.
* Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with an entrepreneurial spirit.
* Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
* Must demonstrate program management skills, including the ability to define goals and tasks, identify contributors, and focus cross-functional participants towards scheduled activities.
