Imbibe, an award-winning national magazine based in Portland, seeks a marketing coordinator. We are looking for a motivated, sharp, creative thinker to manage the print and online marketing efforts for our magazine/website. Qualified candidates must have a proven track record in print and/or online marketing, a college degree and at least 3 years of marketing experience (also see core competencies below). Responsibilities
• Identify, plan, implement and report on promotions designed to sell new subscriptions, drive renewals and single-copy orders, including direct mail, distribution partnerships, e-mail, social networking and interactive media (video).
• Plan/manage list acquisitions and mail lists for print magazine.
• Oversee web strategy & SEO to grow website traffic and online audience.
• Serve as liaison to and work in cooperation with national distributor & wholesalers to handle newsstand logistics, increase newsstand presence & sales while preserving efficiency.
• Coordinate with Publisher on sales goals & circulation forecasting, track sales metrics and create monthly sales reports.
• Collaborate with content partners to develop audience via content syndication.
• Supervise e-commerce efforts and help execute improvements to online ordering processes, troubleshooting as needed.
• Assist in planning and applying website enhancements.
• Layout, manage and deliver monthly e-newsletter and e-mail promotions and develop overall e-communication strategy.
• Work with Circulation Coordinator to maintain event partnership calendar, coordinating with events on logistics and promo ideas.
• Work to keep Imbibe in the public discourse.
• Serve as an Imbibe ambassador at industry and consumer events.
