The Yes for Oregon campaign is fighting to save jobs and essential public services by passing measures 66 and 67 in a special election this January. The AARP, Oregon PTA, Oregon Nurses Association, Elders in Action Commission, American Federation of Teachers, and Stand For Children are just a few of the groups that are part of the Yes for Oregon coalition. We are hiring organizers in Portland and Eugene to go out into the community and register people to vote. Oregon is a vote-by-mail state. There is broad support for our campaign, but many of our supporters have moved since the 2008 elections and don't realize they won't receive a ballot at their new address, even if the post office forwards their mail. Our organizers are fast-moving, friendly, outgoing, positive people who serve the public by reminding people to re-register if they've moved and by giving people the opportunity to register for the first time.

The voter registration only has until December 4th to register students on campuses, and if you have the skills we need to win, you can start work with us immediately.
Organizers start at $10 per hour, and since this is a month long campaign we reward excellent work with raises very quickly. You can earn a $1 per hour raise after just six days and another $1 raise after twelve days. If you have motivational skills, are reliable, and are great at registering students, you can earn $13 per hour as a crew leader.
