We are currently looking for one seasonal Retail Sales Associate to work in our Retail Store.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
As a sales associate of Lacrosse Footwear you will drive the selling efforts and customer relationships by excelling in customer service and selling techniques.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION (Other duties may be assigned.):
Customer Service:
Drive toward a high level of product and lifestyle expertise
Lead by example through service excellence
Demonstrates professionalism and a high level of service so that customers leave the store with a positive image of LaCrosse and the service they received.
Greet customers in a timely, professional and personable manner
Retail Returns/Repairs
Responds with professionalism and good judgment in accepting boots for repair, replacement and exchange or declining boots brought in for repair based on condition of the item. Follows up with customers as necessary.
Daily store maintenance
Ensures that stock is replenished and displays are neat and rotated to encourage sales
Assists with backroom projects and assignments as requested.
Ensures counter areas and restrooms are clean and tidy
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Perform other duties, as assigned by Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma/ GED
1-year retail sales required.
Knowledge of LaCrosse products preferred
TOOLS/EQUIPMENT USED:
Ability to utilize computer systems and PC to find information and problem solve
Basic skill in Excel and MS Word
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must occasionally work in distribution as business fluctuations warrant. The noise level of the work environment is usually moderate.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
This position reports directly to the Retail Store Manager.
