Senior Project Manager, IT
Yesmail is a well-established company with a worldwide presence and a strong slate of Fortune 500 customers. We provide services to some of the largest and strongest companies in the world to help them stay in touch with their customers. Right now, you may be hearing from some of these companies in communications that Yesmail has provided. Perhaps Hotwire or PayPal, Subaru or Coke, HP or Levi’s. Our primary products are opt-in email communications to give customers the info they want when they want it. We are also moving into mobile messaging and social networking to continue our leadership in our markets. Our leadership in those markets has been recognized by Forrester, who named us a Leader last year.

Our headquarters is in downtown Portland and includes our development teams, as well as quality, database, business intelligence and other technical people. Because of our successes and the demands of our growing customer base, we are adding to our Operations team in order to stay a leader in our markets. We are profitable and growing, even in the current national financial situation. The culture is casual and very skilled.

If you can get into helping Yesmail stay a leader, and you want to be a senior contributor on any IT projects, driving the process from the beginning to the end, we need to know about you. If you can visualize the quality end-result of your efforts, and have a big picture as well as a detailed view of all IT projects to knit together the improvements to bring the company to a high-level, we should hear from you. We deal in billions of messaging outputs yearly, so your interest in high-quality performance for Fortune 500 clients is important. This role will work with a wide range of teams and will call for skills in creating and maintaining project plans, schedules and supervision of assigned team members. If you can thrive in a growing team and company and help define the directions of that growth, we should talk.

We need people who are energized by design, analysis and review of key projects for a national leader. Our success and profit has allowed us to look closely at our entire infrastructure and we are identifying areas of need that will drive this role. Ideally, we need strong skills that come from a number of years (not months) of experience. PMI certification is a big plus, as is a comfort-level in working with people at all levels, within and without the company.

This is a role in a team that works well together, so a team-oriented approach is valuable, but you should be self-directed and able to prioritize and complete your work with little supervision. But you should be open to reaching out to others when necessary.

We are a leader in interactive online marketing, are stable and strong, and are growing a great deal. We need people who are energized by cutting-edge technology and can be innovative and creative. Our leading suite is exploring a variety of new technologies all the time, so you shouldn’t be afraid of any technology. See our products and clients at Yesmail.com.

Yesmail is unable to consider visa sponsorship or transfer of sponsorship for this role, so please be authorized to work in the US at this time.

Please go to http://www.infogroup.com/careers.html to see and apply for this role (PRTYS304) and to review all opportunities worldwide at Yesmail.

We are a technology company that provides computer networking and other technology management services to small and medium enterprises. We have a very eco-friendly, innovative approach to providing these services. This approach also includes a very strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction, and a model that will lower our clients' Total Cost of Ownership. What distinguishes us is our ongoing network management services.

We are headquartered in the Eugene area but have a new client in Portland that we need an experienced, local Microsoft networking engineer to provide on-site services. The first phase of the project includes installing GFI Faxmaker and a Brooktrout fax card. Included in this phase is the pre-installation engineering for a SQL server install where you will work with us and the client to develop a final scope of work on the project and assist in putting together a reasonable final proposal. The second phase, of course, is installing the SQL Server. We anticipate this will be the first of many projects in Portland for this and other clients but can’t guarantee other specific projects at this time.

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of progressively complex computer networking experience. Two or more years of SQL server experience with various installations is required. An MCSE is strongly preferred. Familiarity with GFI Faxmaker and a Brooktrout fax card is desired. If you don’t have the experience, you need to have experience working with similar faxing technologies and the ability to learn the technology quickly before you go on-site.

This is a contract opportunity and no full-time employment is anticipated, however we may have several other contract projects opening up in the future.

If you are interested and meet our minimum qualifications, please respond with your cover e-mail telling us why you qualify and your resume.
