**Unarmed Officer job description
Northwest Enforcement mission: provide responsive, professional security services to our clients while contributing to the maintenance of homeland security.
Job goal: provide excellent security and services in support of Northwest Enforcement’s mission. Demonstrate good judgment in all decisions and interactions.
Job purpose: meet client security needs by working all assigned shifts and overtime hours as opportunities arise.
Job responsibilities: a successful candidate in this position will be prepared and motivated to complete the following responsibilities with support from lead officers, supervisors and management.
Certification management:
• Maintain appropriate state certification to work as an unarmed security officer; complete original and refresher training and all appropriate paperwork
Time management:
• Arrive at work in uniform and ready to work prior to or right on time for each shift to respect co-workers and meet client needs; provide advance warning if you need time off for any reason (see Work Expectation policy for details)
• During shift and throughout the week, regularly check email and/or respond calls from management immediately or return calls to management within thirty minutes to address schedule changes or other questions
Uniform management:
• Be aware of and comply with company standards for appearance and uniform fitness; make adjustments as advised by a lead officer, supervisor or management
• Take care of uniforms and request replacement uniforms in the event that uniforms are unserviceable
Site management:
• Be familiar with post orders for your work site(s) and follow them fully to ensure a high standard of service is provided to each client
• Use and help maintain site equipment such as personal protective gear, flashlights and cleaning supplies as directed
• Carefully complete DAR, maintenance, incident, trespass or other report forms as directed by post orders, lead officer, supervisor or management
• Complete all employment paperwork required by Northwest Enforcement, including but not limited to DPSST forms, new hire paperwork and timesheets
• Call lead officer, supervisor or management with questions or comments about schedule, work responsibilities, contact with clients, activities or incidents on site suggestions or improvement or maintenance needs
