SUMMARY:
Responsible for meeting or exceeding annual sales targets for Silver Eagle Manufacturing products in support of the Commercial Sales Team through market development and growth of channel and customer relationships. Works closely with Vice President of Commercial Sales in developing customer and account strategies and tactics. Position is likely to be focused on one or more major accounts, acting as a central point of contact for the customer, ensuring the strategy is fully implemented and the needs of the customer are met. Extensively travels (50% or more) to customer locations, trade shows or events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets customer needs.
•Maintain close contact with customer(s) to understand their requirements and provide complete solutions
•Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
•Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
•Network within each account organization to identify and maximize additional opportunities.
•Offer after-sales support services
•Coordinate and discuss regularly the status of execution of orders and give regular feedback to the customer. Intervene and solve problems as they occur.
•Responsible for ensuring that superior service and support is readily available for SILVER EAGLE MANUFACTURING COMPANY customers within the assigned accounts, so that financial potential of assigned accounts is achieved.
•Accountable for developing and monitoring processes and practices necessary for legal and ethical compliance in assigned area.
•Conduct market analysis as it relates to customer(s), monitor competitive intelligence and identify needs.
•Persuade customers that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
•Negotiate and close sales by agreeing to terms and conditions.
•Anticipate the account’s needs and identify appropriate solutions.
•Provide training and produce support material for the customer.
•Coordinate sales projects
•Performs data analysis for customer performance measures.
•Record and maintain customer data
•Administer customer accounts, including analyzing costs and sales, and calculating customer quotations.
•Prepare reports as requested for both customer and company
•Negotiate tender and contract terms to meet both customer and company needs.
•Manages accounts in accordance with the SILVER EAGLE MANUFACTURING COMPANY sales policy.
•Provides data and analysis relative to competitive products, sales activities and promotions, new product opportunities, and overall business environment within the assigned accounts.
•Annually develops and executes a sales plan for the assigned accounts and reconciles the account plan with the company’s strategic plan. Sales plan to include means of measuring success.
•Develops and manages expense budgets.
•Solicits sales by all appropriate and ethical means.
•Works closely with other team members in developing customer and account strategies and tactics.
•Recommends performance measures and sales opportunities to management.
MACHINERY/TOOLS USED:
•Personal computer, fax machine, copy machine, other office equipment, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint.
•Hand tools commonly used in vehicle maintenance applications.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

•Education/Experience/Abilities:
oBachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
oSeven to ten years of successful experience in capital equipment sales to large customers. Transportation, trucking and/or heavy equipment experience is required.
oExperience that covers sales, engineering, manufacturing and field support is highly desired
oDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain long term relationships to successfully grow large accounts.
oDemonstrated success in project management, product presentation and technical selling.
oKnowledge of and experience in trucking, motor vehicle components and maintenance, and manufacturing processes and procedures.
oPrior experience creating business/sales plans and effectively executing the plans.
oExperience with direct sales, one-tier and two-tier distribution systems and knowledge of international commerce is desired.
oExcellent skills in interpersonal relationships, communication and teamwork.
oMust possess strong written and oral communication skills including excellent listening skills.
oMust demonstrate strong cross functional work ethic, as well as an ability to work independently with a high level of self-motivation.
oAbility to work with minimal supervision.
