Responsibilities:
• Pursue new business through cold calling, face-to-face prospecting, and client visits
• Build and maintain a sales lead database to track and manage leads
• Develop and manage relationships with new and current accounts and increase volume and retention
• Provide attentive and responsive communications with prospects through calls, emails, letters and faxes
• Draft and prepare proposals and responses to sales inquiries
• Prepare and give presentations and demos to prospective clients
• Assist with preparing marketing materials for prospecting
Requirements:
• Must be a sales hunter, not relying on inbound sales leads and orders to meet goals.
• Superior knowledge of sales techniques including cold-calling, networking, lead generation, all with the ability to capture and close the deal.
• 5 or more years business-to-business selling experience
• Excellent oral & written communication skills, clear phone voice - ability to write proposals, give presentations and attend business meetings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet and the Web in general
• Must be a motivated self-starter, who is flexible, innovative, collaborative, resourceful and creative
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Candidate must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize as well as a strong client service orientation
• Ability to work on a commission-only basis.
