Position Summary
With an outstanding depth of knowledge and experience with Dynamics AX, this person will have accountability for the architecture and implementation of the systems.
This person will be a solution driven person with excellent knowledge of Dynamics AX, SQL Server Reporting Services, MOSS, and the entire Microsoft Technology stack. For this implementation, the candidate will have an excellent Business Vision and the drive for architecting software solutions that will play a major role in the growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities
With their excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills, coupled with a passion for delivering high quality enterprise software systems, the successful candidate will:
• Develop architecture methodology and standards and apply strong application development methodology and skills to the analysis, design, development, integration, configuration, implementation and support of Microsoft centric custom and packaged applications.
• Plan Enterprise Applications lifecycle management by researching enabling technologies, working with vendors and conducting prototypes and proof of concepts.
• Lead Enterprise Application Architecture Planning to create strategic target architectures and roadmaps that enable business value.
• Provide project architecture support to create conceptual and logical designs, prototype, and proof-of-concepts as well as provide tier four support for escalated production issues.
• Analyzing complex data systems and documenting data elements, data flow, relationships and dependencies.
• Developing automated and reusable routines for extracting requested information from database systems.
• Working in partnership with business subject matter experts and other technical staff to build data transactional and warehousing systems.
• Documenting user and/or system requirements.
• Performing functional testing.
• Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Experience & Skills
• Highly experienced with Enterprise Applications, specifically Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft SQL, including SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Proficiency with: Microsoft Visual Studio (Microsoft .NET, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET); Microsoft Transact-SQL; Applying SDLC standards.
• Desirable experience includes: Microsoft MOSS (SharePoint), Business Analysis and/or Project Management, MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) or MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solution Developer).
• Very strong analysis, design, development, integration, and implementation skills.
• Routinely exhibit positive communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
• Must be an excellent analytical thinker, problem solver, and an effective communicator.
• Enthusiastically adapts to change and process improvement approaches.
• Proven business skills in detail-orientation, self-direction, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
Education
• Completion of (4) years of college-level coursework in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
Location Requirement
• Must be able to work out of the Seattle, WA headquarters office.
