Position: Product Manager

Job Description:

Responsible for development and execution of business, product and marketing plans that support the product lifecycle, including product development, launch and sunset, as well as price and promotional strategies.

The Product Manager formulates product strategies based on a thorough understanding of the end-user, their business, and the context in which our products help them achieve their goals.

The Product Marketing Manager is ultimately responsible for the definition, development and delivery of competitively superior products that meet the needs of the target end-user.

Manages complete product lifecycle from idea generation through exit. Prepares new product justification, product requirements, launch plans and internal training for customer facing staff. Develops and manages a strategic product roadmap for each product line under his/her responsibility.

Key interface with the QA, Development, Sales Team and management to determine and prioritize customer support activity and feature/software deployment. Evaluates opportunities for new products or services, and identifies new target markets and related strategies, building business cases to support them.

Performs competitive analysis of similar products and prepares campaigns and awareness programs to minimize market share gains or sales impact by specific competitors. Participates in the development of specifications and the selection of technology vendors to ensure that both current and future requirements are being met.

RequiredSkills: Must possess advanced problem-solving, time and project-management, organizational, analytical, customer service, and communication skills. Must have advanced knowledge of MS Office Software. Must be conscientious, innovative, detail-oriented, and adaptable.

DesiredSkills: Debugging/testing, software integration, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and configuration skills. Ability to interpret and develop financial reports. Ability to coach and mentor coworkers.

Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.
