Quality Assurance Manager

Leading platform-as-a-service (PaaS) company, Caspio Inc., is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to lead our QA team.

The ideal candidate will be a great tester who loves to break software and is looking to take charge of a team of his or her own.

This position has the unique opportunity to work from home.

Responsibilities

Lead our team of 4 QA testers
Define, document, communicate and enforce QA best practices
Create test plans for our platform-as-a-service and supporting software
Work with product, services and support teams to reflect real-life customer scenarios in QA
Work with development team to reduce regressions and improve service performance
Work with support team to proactively identify customer-facing issues
Develop test automation to increase our velocity and efficiency
Show QA team how to break product features in as many ways as possible

Requirements

Hands-on experience creating test automation for web backends and AJAX interfaces
Demonstrated examples of writing and communicating best practices
Demonstrated examples of concise and precise test plans
Working familiarity with .NET environments
Experience in both waterfall (traditional) and Agile development environments
Permission to legally work in the United States

This position reports into the VP of Products.
