Description:
As a member the quality assurance team at SignaCert, you’ll work closely with our engineering team to ensure delivery of the highest quality products possible. Once you’ve ramped up you’ll be expected to know our target customers, their use cases and exactly how they use our products. You’ll contribute to the requirements gathering process and enforce quality processes for our entire product development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include creating, executing, and maintaining test cases (both manual and automated), developing test plans, evaluating results, and driving timely resolution. You’ll also work with our sales engineers and support personnel to diagnose and reproduce issues found in the field. You must possess strong technical skills, excel at driving quality processes, and take responsibility for your deliverables. You must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Problem solving and critical thinking skills are a must.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
• 6+ years in software quality assurance
• 2+ years experience leading projects and teams
• Proven experience testing web applications and web services
• Proven QA experience with Java based software development
Projects, 2 years is preferable
• Able to configure and administer multiple platforms (Windows,
Linux, Solaris)
• Working knowledge of SQL, MySQL administration
• Working knowledge of administering Apache Tomcat
• Ability to articulate testing strategy in both oral and written form
• Strong QA methodology, process, and technical leadership
• Subversion source control
• Detail oriented
• Motivated
• Work effectively as part of a team
Desirable:
• Experience with the following tools: Ant, Bugzilla, TestNG
• Proficiency with Python and/or Bash
• Experience with Java programming
• Experience writing automation with Selenium in Java
• Familiarity with the demands of delivering enterprise-caliber software
