We are seeking for a Java Engineer to join our global financial systems/payment processing group. Our group is responsible for building the software systems required to accurately account for and provide process management tools for all of the financially relevant business events that occur throughout our worldwide operations. We are looking for an outstanding and visionary software development engineer who will help us design and build the next generation of our systems that will support our business with dramatically increased functionality, performance, scalability, and flexibility.
Job Qualifications
• The ideal candidate will be a very seasoned and experienced Java developer with exceptional software system design, problem solving, and object-oriented coding skills.
• You should be comfortable with Perl, proficient in the UNIX environment, and fluent in SQL and RDBMS (Oracle) concepts.
• Thorough understanding of enterprise information systems, service oriented architectures, and operational data stores.
• Experience with distributed transaction-processing systems, financial accounting concepts, or asynchronous messaging technology is a must.
• You must be able to work independently and collaboratively with aggressive cross-functional business and software development teams.
• Successful members of our team are not only passionate about creating reliable and maintainable systems but also obsessed with developing high-performance teams through effective communication, continuous process improvement, and mutual support and mentorship.
• A degree in computer science and at least 4 years of software development experience are required.
• Solid experience working in Agile
