Wanted: Fitness Class Instructor/ Personal Trainers

New gym looking for highly motivated and qualified individuals.

The time has come to shift the paradigm of the fitness world. As a company, we are uninterested in relying on membership turnover, selling horrible food replacements, and capitalizing on a customers’ poor self esteem. The last thing Portland needs is another corporate warehouse gym.

Our gym is a service-oriented facility with the prime objective of developing a community of unique and qualified professionals. We cater to a broad mix of individuals including marathoners, weekend warriors, stay-at-home moms, and folks “just looking to lose some weight.” Contractors who are hired must demonstrate the ability to problem solve body issues, teach as they instruct, and work as a team with the rest of their peers.

We are looking for trainers who are highly motivated, educated, and dedicated to the quality of their training and craft. Those interested in becoming part of team will be interviewed and vetted for experience, training philosophy, and references. Personal trainers will be asked to demonstrate their knowledge of the human body, as well as work with a peer for a trial session. All class instructors will be asked to teach a class to a small group consisting of peers, members, and staff.
