Essential Duties/Responsibilities: • Greet their guest and escort them to the stylist’s station. • Provide a hair service to the guest’s satisfaction. • Assist guests with any questions regarding the location, products and services. • Determine the best products for the guest and educate them on those products. • Maintain a clean environment including complete sanitations. • Provide all value added services as explained in training. • Adhere to dress code and maintain a fashionable appearance. • Ability to generate own client base • Consistently provide a high-standard of service by keeping a friendly, positive attitude with every guest and member of the team.

Job Qualifications: Knowledge, skills, and abilities: • A solid technical ability to perform hair services. • The ability to identify a guest’s needs and how to enhance personal communication style to meet the guest’s needs. • The ability to use questioning and listening skills that support effective communication • Ability to problem solve daily challenges and create win-win solutions. • Understand the impact of tone, manner and attitude in communicating with guests and team members professionally. • Exceptional organizational and time management skills • Ability to work closely with other team members and departments • Physically able to perform hair services for up to 8 hours in a day. Experience: • Licensed hair stylist • Experience in the field preferred • Experience with Aveda preferred • Outstanding customer service skills Work Environment: • Fast-paced salon environment • Customer Service provider • Professional development opportunities • Room for advancement
