Event Specialist

Responsible for assisting customers with hosting online web events; work with the customer to understand their conferencing business objectives and assist them with any issues that arise; document and understand customer requirements while communicating to appropriate internal teams; compile and organize information for reporting to customers which may include generating any new reports based on customer request; respond to customer requests and concerns in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred-- equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements

Minimum one year experience providing customer service required preferably in the conference industry, advanced work in pursuit of a Bachelors degree (junior and senior year) in marketing, business administration, or a related field can be substituted for one year of customer service experience

Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required

Basic knowledge in web conferencing platforms (Live meeting, WebEX, Adobe Connect) preferred
