Senior IT Business Analyst
This position is responsible for managing the development, enhancement and implementation of M Financial Group (“M Financial”) applications and application upgrades for Member Firm systems.
Responsibilities include working with Member Firms to facilitate development and implementation of system applications and upgrades; developing and managing the product development lifecycle for IT; and analyzing and matching Member Firm needs against available applications. Additional duties include: managing the efforts of internal, consulting and vendor resources and providing technical support for Member Firm systems.
Successful candidates will have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business or computer related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Five (5) years of related, progressively-responsible work experience.
• Experience in life insurance and/or financial services a plus.
• Experience with business process analysis and design.
• Demonstrated project management skills including a proven ability to keep track of, prioritize and report status of multiple projects and initiatives.
• Expertise in using Excel, specifically with data manipulation
• Strong working knowledge of PC skills: Windows XP, Microsoft Office operating systems and applications (2003 and 2007), Active Directory, Group Policies and Internet Explorer
• Ability to travel up to 50%
