KARO our main character, is an only child who grew up always having to look behind his back. Due to his father DIRAN’S indiscretions with another family in a country where blood feuds are a cultural norm, he is moved to the United States at an early age in fear of death after a near fatal shooting. In a highly guarded house, Karo now 21 has only known the confines of his home and the paranoia of his now sickly father. Through a meticulous series of security measures his father has managed to bring him up totally naïve to the outside world yet fully educated and physically trained. After years of private tutors and martial arts training Karo has become comfortable with the fact he will never leave his fortress. That is until ALICIA moves into the adjacent building. Alicia is a recent transplant to the city; she hopes to pursue a life in the fashion industry. However, she soon becomes intrigued by her peculiar new neighbor and finds ways to communicate with him. As their friendship grows, it quickly turns into love and Karo decides he will try anything to get her into the house. After successfully disguising her as a piano teacher, the two scheme up a way for him to do the unthinkable, get Karo out of his house. Karo hatches a plan to leave the house to attend Alicia's first fashion show for her new line. It is an overwhelming experience that turns violent when Karo realizes he's being followed by members of the rival family. Karo leaves and subsequently Alicia is kidnapped. Karo must decide to save his own skin and return to the comfort of his prison, or to risk it all for the only woman he's ever loved. Eye for an Eye dives deep in to the world of blood feuds or revenge killings that are prevalent all over the Baltic and eastern European states. It hopes to shed some light onto the age old saying an “eye for an eye”. Revenge at what cost? Is an eye for an eye still relevant today?

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
KARO Male (21) Interpersonal character who has been a prisoner of his home since childhood. By environment he’s a bit of a loner, but makes up for it with his depth of thought. Trains in Mixed Martial Arts everyday.

ALICIA Female (20’s) Comes from a wealthy farming family. Moved downtown to pursue a career in fashion. Gorgeous but doesn’t flaunt it. Outgoing Personality.

MICHAEL Male (20’s) African American. South African Accent. Karo’s bodyguard, training partner and closest friend. Michael is Karo’s only real connection to the outside world.

DIRAN Male (50’s) Karo’s father. Highly protective and strict, runs his household like a prison. Disabled from gunshot injuries. Speaks Russian.

TAVIT Male (50’s) Has ordered a blood feud against Diran’s family. Very intelligent and decisive. He wants Karo dead. Speaks Russian.

FRANK Male (late 20’s to early 30’s) Karo’s martial arts training. A master of MMA, Krav Maga, kickboxing, and Jujutsu. Makes sure Karo is in top shape and knows how to handle himself in the event of a predicament.
