Do you have an easy going, outgoing and friendly attitude? Do you like to meet new people? Do you like to make your own hours? Do you like to drive? We have wonderful opportunities for a new driver to work outside of the city limits of Portland and for the right personality, you can, and will do, very well. You would be working with local businesses and business people as well as keeping our streets safe by taking people home from bars that should not be driving as well as helping people go to doctor appointments, pick them up from grocery shopping and much, much more.
Requirements: Must be over 23 years of age, have been driving with a regular Driver license for at least 2 years with no at fault accidents or excessive moving violations. Must know how to read a Thomas Guide, must know Portland area. A portable GPS is a plus. Must have great customer service skills and be trainable. This is a great job for college students or those who need to have flexible hours. No prior experience driving taxis required but you must be willing to learn from experienced drivers and have a go getter attitude. You will have to get a drivers permit from the City of Portland.
